Following the recent Coastal Storm that brought a Tornado into our city of Slidell, we lost power. Celebrating an 11 year olds bday with no electricity was tuff. We headed to Picayune, and she chose Applebee's. The food was great and the service was wonderful. Cash only due to a computer malfunction but all was good. Sorry no pics to post. There were no other customers eating. The appetizer was 1000% good, while the meal.... not so much. The service was polite and friendly but we didn't see them around much either, especially after we ordered. The place was very clean and not overly loud.

A friend and I love to get the salmon and it is good. We always ask for senior discount of 10%, but we never get it on the bill. Is the staff told to ignore; is this a scam?
