I had an early dinner there today for the first time that I’ve been there. I got the crab meat au gratin. It was full of jumbo lump crab meat, the sauce was fascinating and the cheese was perfect. I was so very well satisfied with that meal. I can’t wait to go back but it surely is a long drive.
Took our daughter and our son-in-law here for their first time. Tony was our waiter. He told us of a new dish, crabmeat cannelloni with Alfredo sauce, and it was awesome. The pasta, which was made in house, was worthy of a New Orleans Italian restaurant and the amount of crabmeat was exceptional. Everything else we had was also very good. We've never been disappointed.
My wife and I had not been here in quite a while and came in for lunch. The dining room was fairly busy and seemed about 50% occupied with no wait to be seated and we were placed at a table for two by the hallway to the restrooms. We asked to be moved to a better spot and it was like an inconvenience to them at first and they had a discussion about what to do with us.
