Passing through town we asked recommendations of where to eat. A local said if you want to sit down and have some really good food you won't find any better than perrys. We stopped and everything was delicious. We had boiled shrimp, jalapeño hushpuppies, coleslaw, crab cake, grilled fish, grilled vegetables, fried okra, and the triple berry tart. Before leaving we were already discussing what we would order next time. Sweet tea was good and all the staff were friendly.

This was simply a convenient spot to meet 2 friends coming from different directions. A place to get out of the heat. Thought we'd eat while there and asked what's good. She described a dish as "fried green tomatoes with shrimp and a spicy sauce over the top". I thought I'm not real keen on fried green tomatoes as they're usually greasy but I'd never had this so I went for it. So did one friend. So glad we did. We almost had to stop talking it was so good! NOT greasy and the taste was fantastic. Definitely try it if you stop in. Oh, the 3rd friend was on a weird all meat diet... they accommodated without a thought and didn't charge extra like other places we've been. I like these folks and we'll most surely stop in next time we're near.

This could be described as "one better than" a roadside shack...and I mean that as a compliment. The ladies who served us were super friendly and funny; they joked about me ordering "crawdads" instead of "crawfish". This was a quick stop while we were on the road, so we just got a couple pounds of crawfish and a couple beers. Everything else looked right to me.Next time we're traveling through, we're stopping here, again.

Wife had fried butter fly shrimp over cooked to th point of being crisp I had HB steak about the size of a jar lid and nearly as tasty then my 27.00 meal all of a sudden became 38.00 mandatory gratuity and surcharge. Never again. One time to many. Place sucks

Stopped by here one night and had dinner based off some of the reviews.Ordered the bayou bread, and the Perry’s sea cruise special.The bayou bread was absolutely delicious. The cheese and sauce and crawfish tails on the bead was a delicious combo.The Perry’s sea cruise special came with shrimp, crab cakes, grilled fish, and Cajun potatoes. All of the items on the plate were spectacular. I will definitely be coming back again.

So thrilled to have found this place traveling. We got our fix for fabulous crawfish and an awesome roast beef po boy. Peel and eat shrimp and onion strings were fantastic as well. We stopped for lunch and so glad because our last dinner in the south before heading back to cold country..... Ran out of crawfish!!
