Purvis Ms location. Food was horrible. Service was awful. We asked about an item that was listed on the outside sign, staff had no idea what it was. Very nasty dloor and dining area. Employee was twirling a broom behind the counter (where the food was). Used to be one of my favorites. This place turned me against Wards altogether.

This place has become so bad over the years. I’ve been going to this Wards since I was a kid. It used to be fast service and pretty decent food. Today, I ordered breakfast at 10am, waited in line until 10:35am just to get to the window for the girl running the register to try to retake my order and start making it. No explanation of why my order wasn’t done. No apology for waiting 35 minutes. It really is a shame what this place has become.

Whoever is the owner of this place needs To fire every single employee in there and rehire people with a brain. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I come here my order is either missing something or it’s just flat out nasty. No one there has there stuff together and it’s nothing but chaos. This is the last dang time I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and keep coming back.

Just no! Been here twice and both times had a bad experience. Raw chicken and soggy fries. Rude workers. Everything is so greasy.

I bought a egg and cheese biscuit. The biscuit was falling apart and tasted like flour. It was the nastiest thing I ever got. Will not be going back

My husband and I stopped in here to get a bite to eat this morning (6/26/24) just before 9:00am. We ordered 2 double big one combos with spicy fries. The burgers were not properly prepared. They only had about a tablespoon of chili on just the bottom buns of both burgers. We’ve ordered this type of combo numerous times, and are fully aware of how the burgers should’ve been prepared. The burgers were extremely dry, due to the double patties and lack of chili. The staff members were chatting amongst themselves about how well they liked Mexican food. I guess that was more important than properly preparing our food. Hopefully they will get their staff members on task, if not, they will continue to lose business. We’ll go somewhere else from now on, and we’ll definitely check the level of chili if we happen to go to any other Ward’s location.

I don't know who the new owner of Wards in Purvis is, but you need to get ahold of your cooks.

We all know that Wards is artery clogging, greasy fast food, but that never stopped me nor a large percentage of the state of Mississippi.

However, two days ago, I ordered 2 families worth of breakfast, got to my destination, and ended up having to bring both of my orders of sausage gravy biscuits back for being inedible. These things were as if you poured a glass of milk over a biscuit and let it sit for 20 minutes. Exactly how you see it in the photo is how it was handed through the window to me. The gravy was liquid, and the biscuit was so soggy that a fork wouldn't even hold it.

I asked for 2 ham, egg, and cheese biscuits in its place. As I watched the girl make them, in the back, she started scooping cold scrambled eggs out of a bowl and put it on my biscuit. I stopped her there as well and asked when they started using pre-scrambled eggs and was told "with the new management and you have to specify if you want a fresh folded egg when you order. ".... Seriously???

I was also told by the ladies up front (who were kind) that there were employees in the back that don't care what the food is like when they send it out.... Clearly!

Cut to today. It's lunch, and my kids wanted Wards. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking they probably just had a bad morning last time, so let's see how the lunch round is.

It honestly wasn't any better. I seen the same 2 cooks in the back that were there before.

The little ones were nothing but grease. (As I said before, I understand that these things are greasy which is understandable, but the buns were complete mush.) And the popcorn chicken was hard and dry to the point it looked as if they were left over and thrown back into the fryer.... Never again....
