Surprisingly good for the only non-fastfood restaurant we saw in town. My traveling companion said the fried catfish was very tasty. The cole slaw was very sweet. Very much a country restaurant. Good prices.

I've been traveling between TN and the Coast for years and never knew of Bubbas.
I finally searched for somewhere, other than chain fast food, and decided that I'd stop at Bubbas, what could I lose.
What a gem. Still can't believe how many times I had chain-food when I could have stopped here, and it's only 3/4 mile off of US-45.
Had the Oyster Po-boy. It was as good as any on the coast and the service was great.
They serve Coleslaw for the table. It's a little different with a very slight cinnamon taste. Gotta say, I am a KFC Coleslaw person but in its own way, this slaw was great.
I asked the waitress why they didn't have themselves added to the blue exit sign and was told that it just wasn't necessary to get the clientele they desired.
Stopped by on the trip back north and had the BBQ platter. Gotta say that it was all good but the chicken stood out superbly.

You will get better customer service from a homeless man on the side of the road. The steak was bland, the fish was inedible, and I had to spit out the stuffed crab. The only good food here were the hushpuppies.
