“Went on a date supporting local creativity && it did not disappoint. 🤍 We stopped by Just Vanilla Bake Shop and everything was amazing. The service was warm and welcoming, the pastries were delicious ( baked fresh every day) and they even have some really cool merchandise. Our order: - Just Vanilla Iced Latte(1 Oatmilk & 1 Almond) - 1 Espresso Macaron - 1 Spinach & Feta Quiche - 1 Ham & Cheese Pastry If you’re in the Fondren area 😊 this spot is definitely worth the stop. 🍰🎨“

“Saw the sign on our drive and had to stop! We always try to find local places to stop at and I’m so happy we saw Monroe’s. The two working were so friendly and SO sweet! On top of that, those were probably the BEST doughnuts I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve tried a lot of doughnuts around the world). Make sure to stop here if you’re ever in the area and grab yourself a dozen! Just one won’t be enough 🙂“

“Ive been going to this place since I was little, would go every Sunday before Sunday school / Church with my Grandma and this is hands down still my favorite places to go to. While the bakers (the older couple) dont do a whole lot of interacting with customers, they are still very kind, and for the cashier, he is very chill and relatable. I love the different colored donuts and their sausage, egg and cheese biscuit.“

“I can’t recommend That Special Touch enough. My family and I have bought countless cakes from them after our first recommendation in 2018 from a family friend. From mine and my husband’s wedding cake in 2018 to our son’s second birthday cake today, we have yet to be disappointed. We will be customers for years to come! I’m sharing a many a picture of our cakes from That Special Touch! The pictures don’t do them justice for how awesome they look and taste. Thank you Angela and staff!“
“I have been using this store for bread for years. I did not want to pay full price for bread when I only eat a small amount. I use to buy the sacked bread for our cows when we still had them. Bread is not a large part of my diet but sometimes you need sliced bread. They also have a host of other items. The people are wonderful, and always helpful.“

“I absolutely loved my cake. It was easy to place an order online . When I picked it up all I had to do was let the staff now who I was picking up for . The cake was 50 dollars but it was HUGE and super soft and tasty. We were hosting a birthday party for 25 plus people and everybody was able to get a slice. The staff was nice and everyone was smiling. I would most definitely order from here again and highly recommend to others.“

“Betsie the Manager at the Primo's off Flowood really went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Another staff member did not set aside my muffins- so Betsie apologized and asked if she could re-make them for me and have fresh ones the next day! What a treat! Thank you again Betsie for making it right!“

“I have left 3 messages and Can not even get a call back. I just tried again and the box is full. I knew they were booked through the 24 of may as of 3 weeks ago, are they just not taking orders at all anymore?? I knew they quit with cupcakes, sadly. Would REALLY like a call back if they are still open.“

“I stopped by to get cookies for my birthday. And I ordered the lava cake. Someone didn’t seal the fudge in container properly. By the time I got home, The fudge that was supposed to go on the Lava cake was gone and all over my clothes. I haven’t tasted the cookies yet. I’m sure the cookies are probably fine. But this has been a horrible experience.“
