“Pets, unless verified serve animals, were never supposed to be allowed in pelican (per posted signs “no pets allowed due to health dept codes”. Don Getty, prior mgr never enforced that rule jeopardizing the operation of the entire restaurant! I’ve seen monkies, chinchillas , and dozens of dogs illegally allowed in by don….. again, the health department could have closed pelican down for this!!! Don didn’t enforce any of the rules. New mgt does… we love Adrian!!!“

“The Food is AMAZING!!! The cheese burger is huge and delicious, the hamburger wraps are also humongous and delectable, the Philly pizza is the absolute best, the chipotle, lemon pepper, and buffalo wings are finger licking good, and the buffalo shrimp salad is top tier!!! You can’t go wrong with either one of these items!!! Weldon is professional and such a caring and attentive owner. Love this place❤️“

“JB is truly one of the coolest and nicest guys around. Their place has undergone a recent remodel with a full new outdoor section and a really cool bar (with pool tables inside), making it one of the most desirable spots in all of Jackson. Adorned with decadent walls showcasing beautiful artwork (murals and graffiti), and offering excellent food and beer, it has become a staple not only in Midtown but throughout Jackson. I can't emphasize enough how much I recommend this place!“

“Baby.....I got the beef, chicken, steak & shrimp nacho fajitas & when i tell you they was Bussin!!!!! “Was out last Friday evening around 10:15 and was sure to be out of luck when hunting for somewhere to eat. It was looking like Whatabeen tired of eating or Waffle Bell... But happened to do a quick search anyway and Right on Time there it was like a Light House in a storm...Capitol Grill...kitchen open surprisingly late. I gotta say that the food was absolutely delicious! Even to be later in the evening, everything we ordered was fresh and very well prepared. We weren't rushed at all like some places will do when you come in off peak hours for the kitchen. We received Wonderful A+ service from our waitress who gave good recommendations for dinner when we requested them and had fun shooting a couple games of pool afterwards. Overall Great Experience! A Peaceful, Welcoming, and Fun Environment. Great Job!! Will be returning soon. 5☆☆☆☆☆“

“Upon our arrival, we were promptly greeted by the host and escorted to our designated seat. Our server, Yana, demonstrated exceptional service by going above and beyond to enhance our dining experience. Yana possessed comprehensive knowledge of the menu and recommended the Rajun Cajun Pasta, Philly Wrap, and Southwest Egg Rolls. These dishes were meticulously prepared and presented in pristine condition. Furthermore, Yana consistently monitored our progress throughout the meal, ensuring our satisfaction and replenishing our beverages as necessary.“

“This hole in the wall Burger joint will blow your taste buds AWAY!! It's in a sketchy area with lots of boarded up buildings on a dark street but the risk is worth the reward 😮💨😅 We had a LONG wait for 3 burgers (about an hour) abd it smelled like weed and bad decisions inside BUT when we got our food....LORD HELP US! It was SO good. Seasoned fries were piping hot and so good. The burger was juicy, seasoned and the bread had a nice buttered crunch so you know they even hit the bun on the skillet! We devoured our food and went straight to sleep. IYKYK. 😆 So I've got to give this spot 4 stars bcuz you're going to risk it all...but it'll be the best burger in the city. 🤷🏾♀️“
