“The cook was on point Saturday, March 28. The shrimp and grits got me in my feelings, I’m still tickled. They were PERFECT. The kids chicken was THE BOMB. The pasta dishes were all of that. All of the dishes were served with professionalism, joy and he presented himself like he really likes his job. The food was hot and I’m sure because he didn’t linger. Once they were up-they were out. “Pets, unless verified serve animals, were never supposed to be allowed in pelican (per posted signs “no pets allowed due to health dept codes”. Don Getty, prior mgr never enforced that rule jeopardizing the operation of the entire restaurant! I’ve seen monkies, chinchillas , and dozens of dogs illegally allowed in by don….. again, the health department could have closed pelican down for this!!! Don didn’t enforce any of the rules. New mgt does… we love Adrian!!!”

“Food was really good. Especially the chips. Our waitress was really good but when a large party came in, it took the bars attention so took about 15 minutes for some refills. It’s understandable though and nothing we were mad about. The fajitas were also really good and I have never been asked how I wanted my steak cooked for fajitas. Will be back for sure.”

Take it from someone who has dined in more than 25 foreign countries and all over the USA, this place has the ABSOLUTE best central and south American food in the state of MS, and possibly the entire south! 100% recommend without any reservations at all.. **NOTE, do not go here if you are an atmosphere snob! It is very much relaxed, and family centered with wonderful people running it. It is similar to an old country store with some tables and chairs. Try the Pupusas and the Jimaica tea, (hibuscus flower tea). you will not be disappointed in the flavors or the genuine people running this place.”

“If you know you know! This place is a hidden gem in plain site on a main street none the less. Honey baked ham is some of the best and most popular succulently made holiday pork you will ever have the pleasure to put in your mouth. What I did not know till recently is they are open year round and have deli's in their locations. Today was my first time going to this location and definitely won't be my last. They have a large selection of sandwiches salads desserts side dishes and soups among many other things. The food was excellent. The service just as much so or more. The atmosphere was nice could use a bit of a look into taking it next level such as booths and a little more of a comfortable restaurant feel. It felt a little off in the design and set up to have fresh cut flowers on every table but all your tables and chairs have a hard wood country style diner eat and get out furniture vibe that makes it feel less comfortable than it could be but not in any way the great customer service doesn't make up for.. Rhonda who seemed to be the manager was very helpful in suggestions and selections. Troy who was the cook was very skilled and also very full of suggestions of things to try next time. Price wise they are affordable but they definitely price their food like everyone knows their name. Two combo meals was 30 dollars. All in all this is a great place to get something good to eat but be ready to pay or go cheaper by ordering a la carte.”

“They have such unique and delicious foods and boba tea. My husband and I love their muchi doughnuts, cheese Korean corn dogs, mochi bombs, and boba tea. Their selection is really nice. We really like the asian gumball machines with the collectable toys in them. Best corn dogs we have ever had. Not a fan of regular ones but the Korean cheese ones are kinda like a giant breaded cheese on a stick but sooo good. 😋”

I called otw to get it to make sure they still had it. They said yes…when I got there 15 min later, they were finishing it up. They had RE-MADE everything! This was so thoughtful even though it was my fault entirely- the lady said, “don’t worry about it-It’s just better fresh and hot”- And she was right!! So delicious. I’ll definitely be back!! “I was driving my way into Mississippi to visit family and my sister asked me to pick up a cake, I randomly stumbled across this bakery because it was open late and it was on my way to her house. There were only a couple cakes left of the day and I was helped by the sweetest ladies and gentleman that could speak a little English. I Honestly thought the cakes that were displayed were fake because they were so beautiful and perfect. We celebrated his Birthday that night and it was the best cake I have EVER HAD!! I’m not sure why every sushi restaurant in this city needs to add cucumber or avocado to every roll in some way… don’t fight me, but I don’t believe it’s necessary. Separately, the Hibachi is good & food is fresh. Better quality option for the area it’s in. Cashier is very friendly and welcoming ✅”

“Honestly, I like Subway. I like the customization and the amount of fresh vegetables I can stack on a sandwich without getting charged extra. That said, when I typically go to one I'm either pleased or disappointed because Subway franchises are notoriously inconsistent, even as a single store. Yet I have never been disappointed coming to this one. I work nearby so I come here often because it's a relatively decent meal for not a terrible price, and the staff knew exactly how I wanted my sandwiches within just a couple of days. That's a level of service I don't get very often, which is awesome. They're always very nice and they do a great job. I will definitely be returning, and I'm very glad to buy sandwiches from this franchise.”

“Will here. I came with my Tour team. They were not huge fans of waffle house but was up for the experience.

I wanna give a big shout out to Luis. He was very customer service friendly, and assured that our meals were cooked to perfection. Luis also taught us a few fun facts about Waffle House that we never knew.

Our female server was also very kind and sweet and was looking out for us tremendously. It did not go unseen.

Lastly, the food was awesome. It was made with love and soul.
