“I don’t know what they did in the kitchen, BUT THESE BURGERS ARE MUCH BETTER THAN THE BULLDOG BURGER IN STARKVILLE! The patties are cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly, and the manager, Skye, was active on the floor and made sure all our food and drinks were up to par!“

“Everything was so fragrant and delicious. My husband had a goat dish, and I had chicken. We shared a cheese appetizer, Naan breads, and a dessert. All were cooked perfectly. The staff was absolutely lovely. It was definitely worth the trip from Brookhaven.“

“Pets, unless verified serve animals, were never supposed to be allowed in pelican (per posted signs “no pets allowed due to health dept codes”. Don Getty, prior mgr never enforced that rule jeopardizing the operation of the entire restaurant! I’ve seen monkies, chinchillas , and dozens of dogs illegally allowed in by don….. again, the health department could have closed pelican down for this!!! Don didn’t enforce any of the rules. New mgt does… we love Adrian!!!“

“Five stars because this place is celiac friendly. They have a dedicated fryer for the corn chips, and they use corn starch instead of flour to thicken their queso. This is great because I can never have the chips and salsa at other restaurants! It made me feel very included at dinner with friends. Their Mexican rice tastes very white washed, so I just get the nachos every time. Those are bussin! The margaritas WORK girl! Great margs!“

“Just ate at Shaggys for the first time !!!!! The service and the food was great !!!!! Cameron ,our waitress,is such a sweet and beautiful person ! She knew exactly what to suggest for us and the food was brought to us very promptly !!!!! And was so very good !Also the manager is a wonderful guy with a personality that will draw u in!!! “Went on a date supporting local creativity && it did not disappoint. 🤍 We stopped by Just Vanilla Bake Shop and everything was amazing. The service was warm and welcoming, the pastries were delicious ( baked fresh every day) and they even have some really cool merchandise. Our order: - Just Vanilla Iced Latte(1 Oatmilk & 1 Almond) - 1 Espresso Macaron - 1 Spinach & Feta Quiche - 1 Ham & Cheese Pastry If you’re in the Fondren area 😊 this spot is definitely worth the stop. 🍰🎨“

“My family and I came for a quick bite to eat on our way to Memphis on friday and we saw the amazing reviews so we decided to try it. Absolutely delicious. Wish we had a pizza shack in Memphis! We got a veggie and a supreme and they were so good, lots and lots of toppings! The 3 young girls were very accommodating and they chatted with my young kids and helped us figure out what to order. would most definitely come back.“

“I had the baked tilapia tacos & when I say the fish itself was seasoned to perfection (I took some out of the tacos to taste it by itself). The portion size for the tacos & the rice & beans that came w/ the order was great for the price. I got full & had plenty of leftover rice & beans. I'll definitely be back. I normally have to travel a pretty good distance to get fish tacos, but since ive found this place not far from home, it'll now be my go to. Service was great, as well as the atmosphere. Maybe next time I'll dine in to experience the atmosphere more.“

“I dined in by myself first time ever doing that! The service was amazing! Food came out hot and fast and all tasted delicious! Wish I would have taken a pic! My server was awesome wish I would have remembered her name! Definitely recommend this location. The general manager and another manager both cake and checked on the tables which was really nice! All around great experience!“
