“Great burgers, chill vibe, and kid-approved!
Bulldog Burger nails the smash burger game with crispy edges, juicy middle, perfectly messy. The sweet potato fries? Addictive. Fried pickles? Gone before I could share.
Service was quick and friendly (our kids were actually happy, which says a lot). The outdoor seating has TVs for the games, so it’s basically the ideal low-stress dinner spot for parents trying to survive the weekend.
It’s a little pricey for what it is, but you can taste the quality. Worth it when you want that “we’re not cooking tonight” kind of night.“

“I have visited here on multiple occasions, and I always leave happy. The staff are always courteous and pleasant. To be honest tho, I enjoyed the 'Old Canton Road' sooooo much the first time, that's all I ever get. Easy access, too.“

“Everything was so fragrant and delicious. My husband had a goat dish, and I had chicken. We shared a cheese appetizer, Naan breads, and a dessert. All were cooked perfectly. The staff was absolutely lovely. It was definitely worth the trip from Brookhaven.“

“Pets, unless verified serve animals, were never supposed to be allowed in pelican (per posted signs “no pets allowed due to health dept codes”. Don Getty, prior mgr never enforced that rule jeopardizing the operation of the entire restaurant! I’ve seen monkies, chinchillas , and dozens of dogs illegally allowed in by don….. again, the health department could have closed pelican down for this!!! Don didn’t enforce any of the rules. New mgt does… we love Adrian!!!“

“Best Asian Food I’ve had in years .. Very fresh good food cooked to perfection and to order . Very very nice customer service she was very sweet polite and patient . “Food was really good. Especially the chips. Our waitress was really good but when a large party came in, it took the bars attention so took about 15 minutes for some refills. It’s understandable though and nothing we were mad about. The fajitas were also really good and I have never been asked how I wanted my steak cooked for fajitas. Will be back for sure.“

“Just ate at Shaggys for the first time !!!!! The service and the food was great !!!!! Cameron ,our waitress,is such a sweet and beautiful person ! She knew exactly what to suggest for us and the food was brought to us very promptly !!!!! And was so very good !Also the manager is a wonderful guy with a personality that will draw u in!!! And make u wanna return!!!! Such as I Def will!!!!“

“Where do I begin? This place was my lifeline for the past 60 days. We had a child in the children’s of Mississippi hospital, and every morning they were open I would stop by and order a drip coffee and a pastry. The pastries are top tier, better than I’ve had in some renowned places. Guillermo is a true artist in every sense of the word, and it comes through in his pastries, as well as anything else he creates! Tessa is always smiling, helpful and invested. The whole team is amazing and supportive. Much love.“

“My family and I came for a quick bite to eat on our way to Memphis on friday and we saw the amazing reviews so we decided to try it. Absolutely delicious. Wish we had a pizza shack in Memphis! We got a veggie and a supreme and they were so good, lots and lots of toppings! The 3 young girls were very accommodating and they chatted with my young kids and helped us figure out what to order. would most definitely come back.“

“Went on Monday night around 5pm. Friendly staff welcomed us & took our order. FYI - All drinks including water are $2 ea (free refills)& sauces are extra- ranch, honey mustard, etc. but they are a decent size. We both got Combo #12- burger, wings & fries for $12.99 ea. Food was fresh & hot served in to go clamshell but we stayed and ate at the restaurant. There were TVs with sports playing. We would try it again.“

“I was a little disappointed today. Service was SLOW. Our server, Chris, was good. He disappeared a few times but overall good. The food pre was the big hold up. Not crowded either. My spaghetti and meatballs were warm. Not hot. 6 of us eating and we got 5 bread sticks and 1 bowl of salad. Had to ask for more after we realized he was gone. Took too long for his return and too long for more. But it came. Then he brought more bread sticks without us asking. 1 meal was not available and the server didn't know until he was picking up at the window. So, her meal was comped because she had to wait for another meal to be prepared. The manager brought it. Which was nice. THEN time to pay. We are old school. The computerized little pay machine is awful. We had to find our food and drink price on it and add it all up then pay. Way too slow of a process. Many of us were overly frustrated. Waiting.“
