This place is AMAZING!! My wife got the #8 and I got the pimento cheese panini. The box combo they offer is 1000% worth it, gives an incredible deal.
The personal touch offered by the workers is outstanding. Making the flavor of their own (absolutely INCREDIBLE) pickles, the knowledge of the menu, and the ease of conversation is amazing.
If you're in the area and you don't stop at this restaurant, you are missing out more than you know!

No ice. Filthy bathroom. Every table filthy. One person taking orders AND cooking the food at 5:15pm. people walked in, waited at the counter, then left. just a disaster.

Triple check your order: ordered an all turkey, no ham chef salad. I looked down at salad as I was walking out. There was no meat at all. Got that corrected (no apology). Then I started to walk out again and noticed there was no dressing. I went back to the counter to ask for the dressing. Both items were listed on the order receipt attached to the bag. Again, no apology.

Disappointed. This place has gone down hill recently. I used to love the brisket panini but the past couple times it’s been disappointing. My panini had two pieces of brisket that was mostly fat! It was completely inedible. Not to mention the staff of all teenagers who are goofing off and playing on their phones the whole time.

Ordered two pizzas and that was one of the worst crust I’ve ever had. idk if it was just a bad day or this is the usual but the crust was dense and gummy…very hard to chew. The toppings were good and the spicy ranch sauce was the only thing that made it somewhat enjoyable.

My first time here (Jackson) and I came over for lunch. The staff was super nice. I got the Rodeo Panini with a deviled egg and the banana pudding. The food was good, but that Banana Pudding is SPECTACULAR, and I am VERY picky when it comes to banana pudding. Best I've ever had from a restaurant. Will definitely be back.

You can't do better for a quick bite to eat in Renaissance than Basil's - fantastic pizza, paninis and salads at affordable prices. Highly recommend trying the Fondren or Rocky pizzas. Both delicious and a great option to split for two people.
First warning sign dirty tables ?Second warning sign I was trying to fill my tea and part of the spicket flew off, tea went all over my cup and hand. Then the guy picked the part that came off up off the floor and put it back on the tea dispenser without cleaning it ?Last straw no soap in the only bathroom (so they aren't washing their hands) ?
