I went for my birthday and the service was exceptional! Our waiter was absolutely amazing! The only thing I didn't like is that we were sitting beside a really loud table whom was very rude to their waiter. It kind of took away from the experience. But that's not on the restaurant! The restaurant was great and the STEAK 10/10........THE SHRIMP AND CRAB DIP 10/10 will be returning

I had a reservation for 8 PM on a Saturday night which is an understandably busy time. According to their policy, cancellations must be made by 12 PM the same day to avoid a no-show charge. Unfortunately, just a few hours before our reservation, my boyfriend’s father suffered a medical emergency. When I called the restaurant, the staff was incredibly understanding and canceled our reservation without any penalty.
This level of compassion and flexibility isn’t something you’ll experienced everywhere in the area. When I explained the situation to another establishment we planned to visit same day before Ely’s, they refused to offer any consideration because we didn’t cancel “24 hours in advance,” despite the circumstances involving a sudden loss in the family.
Ely’s grace during such a difficult time was the epitome of excellent customer service and gave us one less thing to worry about. I genuinely look forward to dining there in the future and will gladly recommend them to others.

I ordered the filet louisiane and the crawfish and shrimp dip. The steak was tender but needed much more seasoning; however, I really enjoyed the dip. My guest ordered the redfish and she enjoyed it. Nevertheless, it wasn't satisfactory enough for me to return. Note that reservations are highly recommended and the dress code is not strictly enforced.
