Today, I had several orders to make for my coworkers and I. Decided to place them all in person. The young lady that took my orders was very professional, polite, and patient with me.

I placed an online order for three sandwiches: a medium hoagie, a tuna sandwich, and a large hero. It was raining that day, so I had someone pick up the order for me and bring it back to the office.
First red flag: the to-go order didn’t have the receipt attached to the bag (as it usually does). Second, only one sandwich—the tuna—was correct. The others were wrong:
The Hook & Ladder was made as a turkey club, which included bacon.
The Hero was made as a Hook & Ladder.
When I called the store to point this out, I was met with resistance and attitude instead of concern. When I explained the mistake, the staff member argued with me—saying sandwiches don’t come with bacon, in a tone that suggested I wasn’t being truthful. On top of that, the turkey club had been sliced with the same knife used on a meatball sub, so it had marinara sauce residue on it. That’s unacceptable cross-contamination.
I explained that I would bring the incorrect sandwiches back (in the rain) so they could be corrected. I made it clear that the tuna sandwich would not be returned because it was fine. Her odd, almost defiant response was, “Oh, I won’t be remaking the tuna sandwich.” That made no sense, as I never asked her to remake it.
When my runner brought the sandwiches back, the staff continued to argue with him. After pointing out the cross-contamination issue, the response we got was that using the same knife without cleaning it was “common practice.” That’s not just careless—it’s unsanitary.
At that point, I told him to leave the sandwiches. It wasn’t worth the grief. Only then did she say she was “ok” to remake the order, but by then I had no confidence in their food safety or customer service.
Mistakes happen—we all understand that—but as a paying customer, I expect at least a basic apology and a willingness to make it right without an argument. Instead, I experienced rudeness, excuses, and unsafe food handling practices.
I used to enjoy this location, but after this experience, I won’t be spending my hard-earned money or valuable time here anymore. There are too many businesses willing to make a simple lunch order correctly—and treat customers with respect.

Outstanding! staff was friendly and lady who waited on me was very talkative. I ordered the philly cheesesteak and it is hands down the best philly cheese steak around here even beats jersey mikes. It was tender and cut very thin. I hate chunky meat. I ordered the small so it was more like a snack than a meal but i wasn't very hungry. It comes with a yummy pickle pear on side. all cost about $9 so it was a good price. cant wait to go back!

My coffee hot was served to me cold . My taste more like milk than coffee I was very disappointed So asked the young lady at the window could she heat the coffee up she took over 30 minutes to bring my coffee back to the window no napkins
The woman working this morning is so rude! I couldn't get her name because her name tag was scratched out. The guy who works in the mornings is always awesome. She practically threw my food at me after waiting 15-20 minutes. She helped people who came in after me before me. Horrible customer service experience. Shouldn't work around people if you can't have a decent attitude towards customers.

I came in the store to get something to go at 8:30. They don’t close until 9 PM. Everyone of them down to the manager rolled their eyes and was very rude because they had already started cleaning up for the night. I love firehouse subs, but come on guys do better!! What happened to customer service what happened?!!!!!!! Probably won’t ever be back here again
I don’t know who made the meatball pepperoni subs on 5-7-24 at 11:08, but they deserve some praise. My sandwich was flawless, and I don't throw that word around often. The bread was soft, the meatballs had great texture, and the cheese was melted perfectly. It had those golden brown spots like a 1990s Pizza Hut deep-dish pizza. I can't say enough nice things about this staff working that day or the sandwich they made for me. I will be getting another one soon!
