My wife loves Chinese food and has lived in the Jackson metro area longer than I have. Over the last 7 years, I’ve tried almost every Chinese restaurant in the area through her. But when I introduced her to Kam Loon, she hasn’t wanted to eat anywhere else!I can tell it was a family-owned establishment that truly takes pride in its service and quality of food. The service was incredibly fast and the food has been immaculate! You won’t find better tasting Chinese food in the entire Jackson metro area.

I don't see how ppl give this place 5 stars I've eaten there ordered food 3 times and I've gotten big pieces of bones in the egg rolls, chicken raw soggy but hard rice. The only thing I get that's good there is egg drop soup. Just terrible. ???

The fried dumplings have always hit the spot. Almost every week, I will go in to get some and they are always hot, delicious, quick, and inexpensive. The service is also really nice. The people taking my order are always so nice but straight to the point so I can get my order quick as possible. Every now and then when it isn't as busy, she will actually spark a conversation with me and it is quite refreshing. The store is also kept very clean and nice. There are chairs to sit and wait and everything is kept clean and tidy. When I order, I can see into the kitchen a little bit and it also looks very clean which makes me feel comfortable. Definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting some wonderful. inexpensive chinese food.

Unfortunately I had to remove 2 stars due to the terrible customer service I experienced today. Unlike my previous 2 experiences, this time there was an older woman that took my order over the phone and was cooking when I arrived to pick it up. I was still greeted by the young lady that handles the register and completed my transaction.When I looked inside the bag I noticed the packaging was different. This time it was a small Chinese box instead of the bowl I got the previous times. All I wanted to know was if this was considered the same pint size as the bowl so I asked the young lady in the same calm manner that I had been talking to her in.While im talking to her the older woman was standing nearby and yells at me that this is the small size. I was already getting that information from the young lady, I didn't need her interfering or yelling. Nor did she apologize about it. I appreciated the young lady for showing me the box comparisons, especially if I may have wanted to order the larger one in the future. But I doubt I'll be returning with that woman being around. She definitely shifted the environment with her rude impatience.It is absolutely ok for paying customers to inquire and ask questions and for businesses to provide answers. That's what makes great customer service & learning experience.
