Local 463

This restaurant was a bit of a surprise. The reviews were good. We were in town for the weekend, so we thought we would give it a try. Every single thing we put in our mouth was delicious. We had the mushroom fries appetizer, which was incredible. The fried oysters on a type of coleslaw was amazing and the beef short ribs for our entree. The service wise ridiculously good cocktails delicious overall a wonderful, friendly warm tasty experience highly recommend.

This review is from 12-16-25. I would have loved to given this place a 5 star review but the service I received was poor and disappointing. I sat at the bar and was really looking forward to a great meal and a few drinks. The two bartenders lacked attentiveness and appeared disengaged from me. Both ladies gave everyone else at the bar their full attention but didn’t seem to care less about me. Maybe because I was by myself but that quality of service is disrespectful. The food was amazing. I had the fried chicken and it was the best I ever had but Im very disappointed in their bar staff. Shame on them for their unprofessionalism.

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Local 463! From start to finish, everything was top-notch especially the service from Michelle, who was incredibly professional, attentive to every detail, and made sure our table had everything we needed without ever being intrusive.
We started with the Breadless Jumbo Lump Crab Cake served with grain mustard lemon butter hands down, the best crab cakes in the South! Perfectly seasoned, full of fresh crab, and beautifully balanced with that tangy butter sauce.
For entrées, we tried the Blackened Chicken Penne with sweet peas, grape tomatoes, and a light parmesan cream sauce comforting, flavorful, and not too heavy. The Redfish 463 was another standout: sautéed crabmeat, garlic mash, thin beans, and charred tomato lemon butter every bite felt like a chef’s masterpiece. The Wood Grilled Salmon was equally impressive, paired with bacon cheddar mash, fresh asparagus, crispy onions, and a red wine demi-glace that tied it all together perfectly.
Everything was delicious, beautifully plated, and served hot. Between the quality of the food and Michelle’s exceptional service, Local 463 continues to prove why it’s one of Ridgeland’s finest dining spots.
Highly recommend and don’t leave without trying those crab cakes!

The wait time was less than 3 minutes we didn't have reservations & I was quite surprised that we was still able to dine in..... We wasn't fully dressed at all the service was top tier & I really enjoyed the fried green tomatoes topped with creamy crawfish

First timer here. Stopped by for lunch and it was full so ate at the bar. Nice experience. Bar tender was really nice and food was good and reasonably priced

Food wasn’t bad. Very nice restaurant. More on the upscale side. Waiter was pleasant. I just wish I had a little more mashed potatoes with my meal- they were very delicious lol… My colleague stated that the salad was pretty good.

My husband and I had dinner here while traveling cross country. It looks great upon entering, but it seems like the vision for the restaurant and what actually happens are two different things.

Overall staff communication was lacking. It was near our hotel and we were walk-in, so we sat in the bar area which was a little noisy but fine. However, several staff walked by us until I think a server took pity on us and just decided we would be her table. A large group came in and their server was panicking, telling 3 different people she needed 9 waters right away.

We ordered Moscow Mules that were served in regular glasses, not copper mugs.

We had the appetizer special crab claws and “crispy” king pao rock shrimp. What we were served looked and tasted like Mrs. Paul’s fried seafood, basically flavorless, over breaded and extremely small. We also each ordered the heirloom tomato salad. What we were served was a giant bowl of arugula with about 6 heirloom cherry tomatoes.

I hope this group can get it together. I think it will be worth the prices they charge if they do. I hope when we come back through they are still around.

I don’t normally order old-fashioned from any restaurant as I am kind of an old-fashioned snob. I decided to try their cherry infused old-fashioned and to my shock and my delight. It was our favorite old-fashioned that we’ve had name. Our waitress was Micaela and she did an outstanding job. Her recommendations were spot on and her interpretations of the different dishes were also on par. Our experience with this restaurant was unmatched and we will definitely be coming back and bringing friends. I have the Dr Pepper infused short ribs While my partner Amy had the salmon.
