Soo many great dishes to try! They excel at the extras like the bacon relish on sammies or the homemade dressings

We planned and made the trip to Lou’s on 10/19. We LOVED Lou’s in Jackson, so we were so excited to try the new full serve location. The food was NOT the same. If you are expecting the same flavors and food quality as the Belhaven location was… don’t. The teres major and bread pudding have always been our favorite meal - they were both awful this time. They serve the meat with potato salad now (????) and the bread pudding came with a different ice cream and was cold. Not a good experience.

been here three separate times and every time it’s been closed I arrived at 2:45 and was told they closed at 2:30 pm but there were PLENTY of people still inside eating
I give it a 2 star because of the decor and atmosphere and it seemed pretty clean. I was looking forward to trying this place out. It was pretty empty. Sat at the bar (only person at the bar) Gave who I assume to be the bartender / server a few minutes to finish up with their customer placing an order at the register. After that, they got engaged in a conversation with someone who seemed to be another employee. I waited a few more minutes. I then got up and went to the counter and looked over the menus. Unfortunately whatever conversation was taking place was taking longer than I was willing to wait. Walked out and off to support a different restaurant. ?♂️
I stumbled upon this place and it so freaking good. Just a sandwich living up to my hopes and dreams!

My family went there for lunch today. The place had quite a few customers inside and out, but our order came to our table rather quickly. All of the food was fantastic! The shrimp roll with the buttery grilled roll and creamy cold shrimp salad was a delight. The homemade chips were amazingly crisp. Glad to say we have a new restaurant option to look forward to in Ridgeland.

This was the best burger I’ve had in AWHILE. My husband and I split a smash burger and fries. Soft,
Pillowy brioche bun, double patty with the perfect crispy burnt edges. It tasted so fresh and homemade. The place is also vibrant, friendly and sleekly modern. Highly recommend.
Side note: the Mexican street corn appetizer was just okay.

This restaurant is very good! The staff is very friendly and helpful! The food is so good and there is a full bar. We ordered a brisket sandwich, fries, caesar salad, smash burger and frozen rosé. The frozen rosé was a little too sweet but my husband enjoyed it. Great food, Great service, Great price. We recommend and will absolutely make this a regular spot!

I want Lou's to make it because they're doing things with sandwiches that no one else in Jackson is doing, and they're doing them well.
I haven't had a bad sando here yet, and I've cruised my way through half the menu. The team is well-trained, and everyone is really on top of their position.
And it's not just that I haven't had a bad sandwich. It's that there are several things on the menu that I catch myself craving. That's the mark of a sandwich worth eating, and I catch myself coming back multiple times a week because I can't get them off my mind.
Y'all need to pop on over to Lou's.

Wonderful sandwich with cool takes on classic sandwiches. We got the Slab (meatloaf) and the Cicero. Both were delicious! One thing that really impressed me was the kid friendliness. There were plenty of high chairs, our server offered a drink cup in case our one year old wanted water, and the kids ham and cheese sliders came out almost before we'd gotten fully settled at the table. Perfect for hungry kiddos! Other places we've been, the kids food came out after ours and we ended up with a meltdown.

Absolutely wonderful and I'll definitely be back. This is my second time and it was great. I brought my sister and she feels the same way. The only thing is I wish there cups were bigger.

We tried this place for lunch and it did not disappoint. I got the “Wat-Cha-Callit” and it may be my new favorite sandwich. It was hot, the cheese gooey, and the beef was tender and well seasoned. The fries are awesome they are big cottage style fries that are also well seasoned and the perfect fry, crunch on the outside and tender and fluffy inside. The portions were large and the service was friendly.
