Menchie's Frozen Yogurt

On August 29, 2025, around 2:40 PM, I visited this Menchie’s with my 4-year-old. After he had already served his cup with toppings, I was told at the register that they were not accepting cards. While I understand technical issues can happen, there was no sign posted to notify customers before serving themselves. When I pointed this out, the cashier replied that it had “just happened 30 seconds ago.”

I then attempted to hand the cup back for disposal. Instead of taking it, the employee said, “I can see you holding the cup up, you can set it down,” while slapping the counter repeatedly and gesturing at me to put it there. His tone and behavior were extremely rude and dismissive.

This individual appeared to be a manager or supervisor, not a teenager in training—which makes the lack of professionalism even more concerning. Speaking to customers this way, especially in front of children, is unacceptable.

Yogurt's good. They didn't have an ingredient list to check for uncommon allergens

Menchie's Frozen yogurt is a great treat. I like that it has no preservatives and no additives. It has a great variety of flavors. I'm so glad I found a good frozen yogurt place. I also love the friendly staff.

Had the cheesecake flavor and the creamy cocoa hazelnut blended. Yogurt was fantastic with lots of good topping options. Caleb was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed. Overall great place, loving coming here with my girl for mommy-daughter nights!

The selection of flavors is horrible. The staff is rude and not helpful at all. Sample cups would be great. I don’t want to purchase a gross flavor. The last time I was there, no lids were available. It is impossible to drive with four cups filled up and no lid.Overall. Expensive, rude staff, unpleasant environment. Hopefully, this is only the Ridgeland location.

UPDATE: CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS BEEN GREAT! I've been greeted and helped every time since I left this review. Keep up the good work.I love the fact that some of the selections are made with stevia, and there are non dairy options!! But need more options for both, and definitely more non dairy options. Agree with the bad reviews on customer service. It's very dry. But because I serve myself, I don't care a whole lot. But, as a business owner, this can make or break your business.

I had mango and strawberry frozen yogurt with kiwi and strawberry toppings with a dab of whip cream. The hubs had vanilla frozen yogurt with lots of kiwi. Both were SO yummy. And the young lady that was working was super polite.

Dirty, yogurt was runny, no napkins in any of the dispensers. Unfriendly staff. Won't be back.

Expensive but worth it

Heard about and saw very concerning things happening here.. Only purchased from here once but definitely won't be back.

Frozen Yogurt was delicious but the worker was not attentive during this visit . She didn’t greet nor make any interactions during the visit. She also disappeared to the back for several minutes after another guest went to the back to get her.

They have a great product. I would rate the frozen yogurt 5 stars. On 1 star because of the service. Where did you get these quiet employees from that dont greet you or anything. Customer service grade F. Please get sum young upbeat energy in this place before these employees cause people to stop coming. The guy never noticed our exsistence until it was time to pay. I hope this business stays just need to make some employee adjustments.
