Me and my girlfriends decided to go here on the Monday before the Fourth at around 10 pm. Keep in mind we are all 23/24 year old women. We had heard some people at Pelican Cove say that it was a fun little bar and that's where they were going bc/ everything else was closed. We decided to go and try it out! Yeah.. we walk in and just look around and the bartender then began to make a big show talking across the bar telling us that he had to see our ID's right then. We walk over there and one by one we hand him our ID's as he is belittling us saying "whose going to buy their drinks bc/ they cant buy them" and shining his flashlight at us and laughing/making jokes getting the other patrons to join in. I guess they assumed we were underage. It was mortifying and humiliating to be treated that way when every one of us was of age to be there. This is even before we get to our last gf who left her ID at home and understandably we understood that she may not be able to go in bc/ she did not have the physical copy. But she had a picture of her passport and Drivers License. Keep in mind she is 24 years old. After the bartender is already physically laughing at us, he asks for her ID and she tries to explain that she left it/had a picture and he just looks at her. Then, says she has to leave gesturing to all of. We try to explain her situation and he gestures to the other bartender i guess, and loudly tells him to get us out. We just grab our stuff and leave. I mean was he going to physically remove us? It was absolutely humiliating. This bartender (blonde male long hair) needs to be taught some common decency when handling a younger crowd, and im glad that we didn't get the option to order a drink to give him any service. The ID situation itself could of been resolved so nicely, if he kindly would of just said im sorry we cant let you in without an ID. Not loudly making a big show with the intention of embarrassing younger women alone. OVERALL the bar was a very good vibe with great music but someone that rude really ruins the establishment.

This is my all time favorite hangout, the absolute coldest beer in town, the bartenders are awesome folks and treat you like family (better than your own family would), props to Shane for quickly becoming my favorite person. The Pub has an old-school vibe, pool tables, good music, and good times. I've never had a bad experience here.

Ok, this is a true dive bar and they are proud of it! Lol loved the 'Cheers' atmosphere, welcomed by both the patrons and bartender as we came into this little hole in the wall. No tap beers but a good variety of canned and bottled, as well as any you may want to bring in for a cork fee! At least 4 TV's, a dance floor (they were having a solist come the night we stopped by but we didn't stay that late), a juke box, pool tables and a beer garden. Shane(our bartender/owner?) was friendly and told us of the devastating news of the governor's mansion burning down-it took out the whole trailer park! Parking can be difficult, but make the effort! It's a great little place, I'd stop again, and oh, if you want to buy a golf cart for $50K, they know a guy. Hope to make it back soon!

Friendly clientele who will try to get to know you. Seems to be a good size group below 30 around the pool tables and another group over 50 around the bar. They also have two pool tables and a back patio. They only serve bottles and cans of beer and seltzer, no tap and no liquor.
