We ordered the seafood platter and crab legs. Everything was excellent!!! When I say everything, I mean evrrr-thang was delicious. It food tasted fresh with no dirty seafood smell at all. The atmosphere was warm, cozy and inviting. The waitress was wonderful and attentive. Rate this place a 10/10
I'm ashamed to say that I have lived in Jackson for over 20 years and this is my 1st time ever eating at Sal and Phil's. If you love to eat seafood then this is the place to eat at. The food is delicious and the price is reasonable. The employees are patient and nice. I didn't know what to order so I told the gentleman what I like to eat and he made a suggestion. The food didn't disappoint. I am definitely going back to order more.
Been at least 10 years since the last time we been to this restaurant. They have expanded from what I remember but the New Orleans type vibe is still there. We were greeted by Miyah who ended up being our server. She attentive and friendly with great suggestions for our meals. The gumbo was as good as I remembered and the rosemary garlic char-broiled oysters were tasty and plump. The French bread that accompanied was so buttery and fresh, it was very tasty! The Mrs. had red beans...
