I just found management to be insensitive and not empathetic. I was just hospitalized for my mental health. They then scheduled me back to back doubles why I was still going through trauma and couldn't stop crying. Apparently that is too much for an employer. I also fell at the hospital and was in extreme physical pain.

Food was really good. Especially the chips. Our waitress was really good but when a large party came in, it took the bars attention so took about 15 minutes for some refills. It’s understandable though and nothing we were mad about. The fajitas were also really good and I have never been asked how I wanted my steak cooked for fajitas. Will be back for sure.

I’ve been buying the club wrap at lunch for well over a year now at least once a month. The last 4-6 months it’s just not the same as before. The wrap has gotten smaller but same price!! And it just isn’t near as good as it once was. It’s like the wrap is missing something that it use to have. I always take out for lunch but the girls in the kitchen at the take out register are always super nice and helpful.

We do Taco Tuesday’s here and have not been disappointed. We love their taco salads
and the beef tacos/dinner. The food and service is great.

I've yet to have a bad experience at Sombra Mexican Kitchen. Everyone's so kind - from the servers to the hostess. The food is always hot and tastes amazing. The blackened redfish is great - highly recommend.

We threw a private party for our Mississippi Mahj Club. Jessica, Shy, and Andre were extremely accommodating! We'll be back again and again!

Horrible experience tonight. Went at 530. Waited in line to get a table. Specifically asked not to be seated near the bar as I don't drink. They took us to a table by the bar. I said no. Said it would be a wait. Sat and waited 15 min with literally no one waiting and empty tables. Left and won't go back. This has been our go to Friday night restaurant for years. Many times the 2 of us sit at a table for 4. They said they had no tables for 2. They have lost a customer of many years. With literally no one else waiting the whole time we waited. So frustrating.

Loveley place with really mediocre food, it didn't resemble any Mexican food I am familiar with.

We've eaten here several times over the years while passing through. The food is pretty good. We had steak and chicken fajitas. I liked the chicken but I didn't care for the seasoning on the steak. However, my wife enjoyed the steak. We got some cheese dip and we didn't like it at all. It's super thick and we didn't like the taste. The server did take it off our bill though. The chips and salsa were good. My daughter had the chicken strips and she enjoyed them.

Our server was nice and attentive. The atmosphere is fun and pleasant.

While visiting family in Mississippi we decided to try Sombra. We were seated and what was planned to be a quick dinner date turned into a nightmare. We ordered water for drinks and a simple cheese dip while we looked at the menu. He ordered shrimp & fries which was very plain. I ordered shrimp & steak nachos completely plain. Just shrimp, steak, cheese, and chips! I received loaded nachos. I told the waitress that isn’t what I ordered. She removed it & assured me they would remake it. Someone else brings me the “remake” nachos only for them to have removed the topping & covered it with fresh cheese. As I’m eating I find tomato throughout the plate & immediately stop eating. I am allergic to tomatoes we ask for bill & leave right away. If you’re in the area I’d pick somewhere else to eat or spend your money.

We enjoyed a Margarita and some Perfect Bite Nachos with Steak. Their chips and salsa is really good. We’ve been to Sombra several times and always enjoy it. We grabbed a quesadilla to take home with us for later.
