Food was alright. Definitely not the best ribs or pulled pork we've ever had. Potato salad was tasty and the baked beans were decent. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. They do have a few different beers available for order which was a nice bonus.

I ordered from here via Grubhub because according to the map it's the closet place to my apartment where I can get a BBQ sandwich. Unfortunately their online GrubHub menu needs to be updated as there's a few things on there they no longer offer, and a few obvious things which should be on there that aren't (like BBQ sauce). Anyways after placing my order online, I went ahead and called the restaurant to ask about getting a side of BBQ sauce added on. The employee that answered the phone was very polite and understanding, she apologized for the issue with the menu items they no longer have, told me she'd make sure I got a refund for the chocolate cake I ordered that they don't have anymore, and offered me a choice of some other desserts instead. I turned her down and instead asked for a simple side cup of BBQ sauce, and she told me she'd include it for no extra charge. About 20 minutes later the food was delivered to me, which was extraordinarily quick. I ordered the Sliced Brisket sandwich with Baked Beans & Fries. The temperature was correct, and the sliced brisket sandwich was excellent. The lady who had answered my phone call made good on her word and actually included 2 side cups of each kind of BBQ sauce. It was a little sweet for my taste but overall not bad. The fries and the baked beans, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. The baked beans were watered down to the point where it looked more like bean soup rather than normal baked beans. Wasn't really a fan of the ground beef they put in there either. The French fries were your standard "grocery store brand" crinkle-cut fresh-out-of-the-freezer style french fries with no seasoning whatsoever. Easily the most disappointing thing I ordered. Regardless, overall the food was pretty decent, and the main thing I wanted (a tasty sliced brisket sandwich) I got. I'd give the food an overall grade of C+, the service a grade of A+, and the restaurant as a whole a solid B. They have some good stuff and some obviously not so good stuff. If know what to look out for you should be fine. But if you're in doubt, ask their staff for a recommendation or advice, because they are definitely very polite and helpful.

Not sure what you did with the barbecue sauce but it's different. Was almost the consistency of water. I don't mind a runny sauce sometimes, infact sometimes I prefer that, but this was too runny, I couldn't get it to stay on my ribs

Very good. Smoked to the bone. Ribs: delicious. Smoked wings: delicious. Potato salad: delicious. Fried okra: delicious. Tasted the baked beans and wished I had gotten my own serving. I think I'll go back tomorrow to get an order of baked beans. Oh. Very hearty portions. Been wanting to try this place; I'm so glad I did. It is smoked and not overly salty, which is a plus.

I came in there like normal as I always do. Got a rib plate and pork sandwich and neither tasted good. The food taste bland and dried out. Almost like the texture of dirt.

As a connoisseur of bbq and having worked in the bbq industry for ten plus years, this is hands down the worst bbq I’ve ever had. I had pulled pork and brisket with beans and Mac and cheese. The pork had NO smoke flavoring, and was extremely too sweet. No flavor at all from seasoning. Brisket was too sweet also. Not to mention very bland and rubbery. The baked beans were more water than anything else. Hardly any beans. The Mac and cheese tasted like it came from a box straight from the US Foods truck. Do not recommend.
