If I could give a 7 Star for service I would. My department placed a semi large group order with different needs and they accommodated us exceptionally well. Everyone's order was correct and bonus points, they helped us get everything tucked in nicely in our vehicles for the pick up order. We will most definitely be doing this again.

SERVICE: You walk in & go to the counter with its large overhead menu board. (they also offer regular menus to look at) After placing your order you go to the drink station then seat yourself. They have multiple dinning areas including a private dining room. The staff will call your name, you raise your hand & your food is brought to your table. The staff is very friendly & helpful!
FOOD: I really liked this place! 👍 The food options had something for everyone, the food came out hot & the prices were very affordable! There are multiple blue plate options that are all available daily. You can choose 2 or 3 vegetables with your meals. Vegetables plates are also available with so many amazing options. If you like onion rings, you "MUST" give theirs a try! 😋 I had the cowboy steak. This is a larger version of their chopped steak than the 1 on their blue plate. It also came with a salad.
Their parking lot always appears full to me but they do have an overflow lot.
Vegetarian options: Large option of vegetables & salad. I'm unsure if meat is add to these.
Kid-friendliness: Had a kids menu. Great place for families & larger parties.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible!
Red Beans & Rice and Rosemary Chicken were delicious.

Amazing food. I moced out of state for a while and while I was gone I craved this place for like 5 years. When I got back in town, first place I ate was here and they didn't disappoint. Even better than I remembered. Nice cozy family restaurant with delicious homestyle county cooking. I always get the pot roast and its great. My husband had the rosemary garlic chicken which I tried and it was to die for.

This establishment is pretty clean and the atmosphere is decent enough. As you walk in, you take a menu, make your choice and then head over to the cashier. You place your order and find your own seat. I ordered a Blue Plate which consisted of meatloaf, bbq beans and Mac n Cheese. I added brown gravy on the meatloaf. My food was brought out pretty quick. The portions are generous and the food came nice and warm. However, in spite of the extra gravy on the meatloaf, it was a bit too dry for my taste. The bbq beans and the Mac n Cheese were pretty good. The plate came with a piece of cornbread, but it was pretty dry unfortunately. Overall, I gave this grill three stars. There is definitely room for improvement. In total I paid $13.24 which is not bad. Now the big question: Will I return to this establishment? Probably not. (Sorry about the weird lighting in the pics.)

9/10/24-Receipt #0133: Ordered to go Blue plate hamburger, steak, turnip greens, macaroni and cheese, and fried green tomatoes. Heard many good things about this meal and restaurant. I was highly disappointed the hamburger steak was overcooked blacken in some spaces with holes in other and just dry, the greens taste like they had a pound of sugar in them and overdone mushy, fried green tomatoes undercooked and had enough batter that you could’ve made pancakes, Mac and cheese very dry and uneatable. It was a terrible meal I’ve been sick and I went there to get me something to eat, and I could hardly eat anything on that plate highly disappointed. I want my money back. Site will not allow pictures.
