Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux - Ridgeland Restaurant

In both of the pasta dishes we ordered the noodles were overcooked,flavorless, and did not have any crawfish in it. The tuna on my salad was gray. This is disappointing considering how expensive this restaurant is.

Stopped in solo tonight and sat at the bar. Slow night when I arrived, food was great but service was just okay. I expected a bit better service speed by sitting at the bar with 3 girls working it. I will be back as I do love the food there!

Went here lastnight. Pretty busy for a Saturday night which was to be expected. Our wait time was about 35 minutes. Server came to our table, greeted us and proceeded to take our drink and food order. Food was a little salty..whoever is preparing the food has a heavy hand with salt. Server was extremely nice and from the looks of it she had many tables so we were patient with her. About 30 minutes before leaving, the manager lady, Amy(lady with locs) was very rude to our server and decided to cut her and told her she was not to come back to work until told to do so in front of us. Extremely unprofessional.

I had never eaten at any of the Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux locations until the night of 12/05/2024 in Ridgeland, MS. I am saddened to say it was just the right amount of noise level for me not to hear our server's name and was embarrassed to ask her to repeat it. (My hearing just isn't what it used to be after having COVID-19 twice in 6 months in 2022.) But, I will say to you, if you've never eaten at any of their locations either you have to go -- IT IS AMAZING FOOD, and service! The flavors in the Cajundillas hit all the flavor sensors in perfect unison! The Red Beans & Rice? Awesome! The Red Fish Tacos? Again ... Awesome! Way to hit the mark Walk- On's Sports Bistreaux!!! I will be back for more 😀

Visiting from Atlanta, but Jackson / Madison is home. I look forward to coming home once a year and trying new places. Today we had the Seafood Platter and I enjoyed everything except the étouffée. To me the étouffée was too thick and bland. We also had great service with our Unique server. Her name is Unique and she was very attentive.

Walk-On is definitely a place I will visit again.
