The restaurant is very cozy. Yia Yia and Papou always come out of the kitchen and greet their guests. They truly treat you like family. I came alone today. Usually come here with my husband. I started with a cup of soup of the day, had the roasted chicken with lemon potatoes as entree, and finished with a slice of lemoncello cake with coffee. Tried Yia Yia’s Greek Kitchen in Brandon and really enjoyed it. It’s family owned and operated, and you can tell - the food tastes authentic and everything felt fresh. The dishes were solid, portions were good, and the people were friendly. Definitely a spot I’ll go back to.
There were a group of us. This was my first experience with this restaurant. We had great service and the food was really good. I loved the chicken svouviki, and the egg plant. We all shared appetizers and entrees family style. We definitely want to return to try the rest of the menu. We also got to meet YiaYia and Papou.
