Located in the former Chicken Supreme location, 1836 is now open. The inside of the business has been refreshed. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, and business was light at the time. We were immediately seated, and our drink orders were taken. A few minutes later we had our food orders taken. Our food arrived promptly, and it was hot and fresh. What a great place to eat! We all got different dishes and loved each one. I highly recommend the shrimp po boy. The restaurant itself was clean, inviting, and had wonderful staff. We can't wait to go back!
Oh my gosh I have eaten at restaurants all over this country and even in the UK and I am a picky eater so when I tell you the food here was amazing with Texas size portions, holy cow it was wonderful!! When I tell you, the staff was on top of everything, I never had to ask for anything constantly checking on us it was clean I highly recommend and I will be going back. Takes me almost 2 hours to get there, but it is totally worth the drive.
