Italian Restaurants near Saltillo

“We ordered from the local house on a whim. We’re staying in Tupelo for the weekend and the menu sounded good. We had it delivered and we ordered the ribeye dinner to share. I would absolutely recommend. I ordered a rare steak and received a perfectly rare streak seasoned very well( we’re in a hotel and didn’t think to grab cutlery, I was able to cut this steak with my PLASTIC knife) . I’m not sure how the roll was made but it was wonderfully toasty and chewy and soft, everything you want in a roll. We also had Mac and cheese and baked sweet potato. Both were done well, if I’m going to nitpick I would have liked the Mac to have some black pepper but I added it myself and wasn’t upset about it, it was creamy with a great cheese to noodle ratio. It was huge portions we split it between two people and both had plenty, my only suggestion is order a second roll. Trust me you will not want to share. We’ll definitely order again next time we’re in town!“

“I’ll start off by saying as a waitress myself it’s usually much harder to enjoy eating out as I unintentionally become a critic rather than a customer. Though I live an hour away, nausea and cravings led me to Olive Garden and my boyfriend and I unknowingly made it in only an hour before closing. Our waitress, Heaven I believe was her name, far exceeded my expectations and was very polite and patient despite our lateness. Unfortunately, the building was rather cold so the food didn’t come out as warm as we would’ve liked, however without us even having to mention it, Heaven immediately noticed and insisted on getting us a fresh order. Truly an amazing experience for what it was worth and we hope to see Miss Heaven again soon!“

“Traveling with an overnight stay in Tupelo and stopped in for dinner. We got the chicken tetrazzini, baked spaghetti and 3 small individual pizzas. The food was absolutely delicious. The decor and atmosphere were wonderful. We really enjoyed it and will return“

“This used to be great place to eat, service was sub par a few months back but ate there last night and it took an hour to get a medium pan pizza and a ham and cheese smokestack, it wasn't busy but employees seemed more concerned with being out back goofing off and talking to each other more than concern for customers or orders. A few things were out on the salad bar including ham, overall it was a terrible experience and I believe that it the last time we will step through it's door unless there is a management or ownership change then it may be worth a shot to see if it's turned back into a place worth eating. We are a good distance away so when we are there it was way out of the way so very disappointing to have such an experience.“
