Was passing through and was looking for some good hearty food. Everything was fresh, mashed potatoes were my fave. The shrimp po-boy were the kids fave. The smoked chicken was hubby's fav. Catfish and greens were a little bland but I appreciate it so customers can add salt as needed. Hubby does not eat pork but he was provided with many options which was a joy.
Delicious and affordable lunch. I had delicious chicken salad sandwich on multigrain (as recommended by one of their staff) with sweet potato fries. Chicken Salad was full of dried cranberries and diced apples. My wife had a BBQ pork sandwich with delicious onion rings.
Busy place. Cracker Barrel type gift shop. Nice flower shop. Good home cooked food and cakes. Had the ribs, they were delicious. Husband had the beef tips-good flavor and tender. Baked beans were very flavorful. Temperature of food could have been warmer. Also could use more restrooms.
