A place that invites you to slow down.
Great southern soul food
Soul food at its best.
I found this place by driving around town on a Sunday evening they have plenty of food options baked and fried chicken meatloaf Salisbury steak etc cabbage greens yams corn beans peas potatoes and more the food was amazing it’s a family friendly restaurant
Hands down the best cooking only second to Grandma's.
Very clean and spacious. Friendly service. Yummy food. I had the squash and green beans with hamburger steak.
I have tried this establishment several times. We love supporting small businesses and keep trying to promote and support this one. The food is decent. But the atmosphere and service are not friendly. The staff is rude at best. Even when helping to promote their business, there is not even a thank you.

Food was so delicious i couldn't decide what to eat so i got everthing i wanted and brought the rest back home on the plane with me
Catfish greens meatloaf spaghetti turkey neck baked chicken dressing gravy and cornbread! Lol Yum! Keep on doing a great job. Oh and the lemonade and tea topped my meal off!

My boyfriend and I stopped here on the way back to Memphis. My boyfriend got the baked chicken, Mac n cheese, corn bread, and mashed potatoes. I got the fried chicken, Mac n cheese, yams, and corn bread.
The baked chicken was the best chicken I love ever had.
The fried chicken was not good, I think they may have over cooked it.
Sides:
Mashed potatoes: average
Mac n cheese: pretty good.
Yams: pretty good.
Cornbread: dry.
Overall I would come back just for the baked chicken.
