We stopped in here while enjoying a beautiful Saturday and just riding through the area. We were drawn to it by the "old school" look and the number of cars in the parking lot. The place was full and you could smell the smoke rolling! The staff were friendly and helpful- I chose the Jumbo cheeseburger plate with double fries and my husband had the BBQ sandwich plate with baked beans and fried green beans. We got our drinks and found a booth to sit in. I went to wash my hands and the bathroom was small, but the cleanest, neatest one I've seen in a long time! After several minutes our good was ready- it was hot and obviously cooked to order. The Jumbo cheeseburger was huge and came just like I ordered it- the fries were crispy. The BBQ was good, slaw was on the side, baked beans had BBQ in them and were really good. Fried green beans were good and came with Ranch dressing. The place was busy and crowded and everyone was nice- great small town feel. We were very happy with our lunch and this is a hidden gem! I highly recommend you go and enjoy it!

literally my favorite barbecue place in the entire world. the sauce makes the whole thing PERFECT and the beans are the perfect balance of sweet and barbecuey. and the fries add the perfect carb to cut all the sauce. just amazing. i’ve been eating here my entire life and i will eat here for as long as i can !

Connie was bussing tables, refilling drinks and always asking if there was anything else we needed; fantastic service. I see the hours have been adjusted to a breakfast/lunch service only (7:30-3; 2pm on Sat), hopefully this is a positive change that allows employees to have an improved work/life balance.

The reviews before have to be fake.We used to come here all the time, but moved out of state.Was eager to enjoy breakfast with "the elders"Biscuits were hard and cold, bacon was ok" candy bacon cant go wrong" grits had to be instant because they were dry on the bottom of the styrofoam cup the served them in. At least the eggs were fresh, scrambled. After I left a local told me nobody eats there anymore but there not many choices in senitobia ms,They said The owner seems to enjoy treating the employees poorly including yelling at them in front of customers.The food prices go up and the quality goes down.It's a shame another childhood memory destroyed.
