Cake Lady Bakery

I am extremely disappointed with both the cake and the professionalism of this business. I called the store multiple times throughout the day and no one answered. I also never received a call letting me know the cake was ready.

I eventually had to send my sister to the store to check on it. When she saw the cake, even she immediately said it did not look like the reference photo provided. When this was brought up to the owner, her response was that they didn’t have the specific colors and that using different colors “wouldn’t have looked good.” Unfortunately, the bright/lime green that was used looks much worse and is nothing like the original design.

The owner was dismissive and unprofessional and refused to remake the cake, offer a partial refund, or even provide store credit. There was no attempt to make things right for a clear mistake on their end.

If you can’t match a requested design or colors, that should be communicated before making the cake — not after. I would not recommend this bakery based on the lack of communication, poor customer service, and refusal to take accountability.

Requested cake: muted, earthy tones (soft sage green, tan, cream, and brown)
Delivered cake: bright neon/lime green, which completely changes the look and theme.
Requested cake: natural, rustic, neutral, and cohesive.
Delivered cake: harsh, high-contrast, cartoonish due to the bright green frosting.

It’s actually been about 3 months since I purchased this red velvet cake from here, I noticed the smell everyone else has mentioned and it is true it’s delightful to walk into and experience.

I found the cake interesting because over the week I had it, I found myself eating large portions of it without any stomach aches at all surprisingly. It was the best red velvet cake I ever had and I know there even more delicious flavors than red velvet that I haven’t tried at this bakery.

I wasn’t over the top impressed with the flavor,more-so the actual texture of the cake. It left me in a trance like state every time I devoured a slice. I had to have it with every meal no matter what it was lol.

Something about how it’s made here makes it easy to eat which I find potentially life changing. I’m not a “foodie” as others are, I actually find enjoyment eating quite bland and non seasoned food pretty much my whole life, but eating cakes like these have introduce me to a world of sweet delight that I can’t go back from.

No more days of baking homemade cakes or grocery store birthday cakes for me. Cake Lady Bakery, next year I’ll be a year older and excited to find out what other flavors will leave me wanting for more just as I have done this year! Readers Beware of the addictive nature of these cakes can’t say I didn’t warn you!

Requested a custom butterfly Birthday cake for my daughter’s 10th. Made to order, and absolutely delicious. Everyone commented how pretty it was too!

The wedding cake and cupcakes were absolutely amazing and beautiful! I was very pleased with everything!

What I asked for vs what I got. I didn’t want writing on the and I had to tell them that birthday was misspelled. I spoke with the manager and explained to her that I was unhappy with the cake and she said there nothing else they could do to the cake because it was a TikTok video cake. I have sent a TikTok video before and I had no problem with the cake. If you couldn’t make the exact cake, it should’ve been explained to me while I was placing my order not when I was picking up the cake. I didn’t ask for a refund and I accepted the cake because my son’s party is tomorrow and I knew I couldn’t find anybody to make this cake at the last minute.

I really wanted to love my experience here, but unfortunately it didn’t meet my expectations. The cake design and color came out very different from the reference I provided, and the final look just wasn’t what I envisioned. The bakery did provide a partial refund and store credit, which I appreciated, but I felt the response focused more on deflection and defensiveness rather than true accountability.
I hope this feedback helps improve future customer experiences, as the presentation and communication could be handled with more care. Still, I encourage others to try them for themselves , your experience may be better. Praying for continued growth and improvement in their business.

Jumped through all their hoops, and still didn’t end up with a cake. Drove 45 mins to find out they don’t schedule orders in person, and that it’s all online. We did the online process, got a confirmation to pick up the cake on scheduled day, called to change pickup time, and was told they haven’t made it and won’t make it by pickup day.

I gave her a grainy Pic of the cake my daughter wanted and she far, far exceeded my expectations. She knocked it out of the park. My daughter doesn't want to cut it now. Lol. Recommend it 10/10. Will never go anywhere else.

I love their strawberry cookies and wedding cake cupcake. I have not tried anything else. I bought my husband a red velvet cupcake, but he said it was too dry to eat. Overall, great experience for me so far.

This is third time placing order with cake lady. The first order placed, I was very happy and impressed with everything. The second time, the decoration of cake did not look like what I asked for. Third time is a charm, right? Nope, not in this instance. I asked for a lemon flavored cake and asked for the icing to match pink in the topper. The cake tasted old and was dry, as if it was made 2 weeks ago. Literally had little taste of lemon. The icing color we asked for was very light pink, but instead, we got hot pink. Very disappointed. When order was taken, the lady taking order literally put on ticket, match color pink in topper for icing. Still got it wrong.

The strawberry lasagna is to die for.

Love this place. The cakes are always wonderful. We've ordered 2 custom cakes for a wedding reception in June.
