The Beans had no flavor and tasted straight out of a can, Mac-n-cheese dried out, dressing was raw or undercooked, the cranberry sauce was nonexistent, the gravy was separating and had a weird flavor. I ordered cabbage and turnip greens and received beans instead. Cornbread was cold and stale. The young girl that came out to the drive thru asked me what my order was with a cell phone in her hand took my debit card and the car behinds card and walked off. No greeting no name tag, i wondered if i would ever see it again. If I could rate this a zero I would! I wish they would change the name of this establishment because Mr. Dale Would have never let this garbage go out the door.

I hadn't been here in YEARS just because I hadn't gone that direction. I had almost forgotten it was there until I was in the area with friends and someone suggested it. I was INSTANTLY reminded of just how fabulous the food was!! The service was super friendly and nice and offered great advice. Let me add... My Dad is a Banana Pudding snob... Because he was raised with women who made it incredibly well!!! He LOVED it!!! So... If you like AMAZING Banana Pudding, go get you some at Dale's!!!

Food was okay, nothing special. Atmosphere also nothing special. Veggies served in styrofoam to-go cups (this was dine-in) which felt tacky, especially for the price ($12.99 for 4 styrofoam cups of veggies). MS restaurant sales tax is 8% but Dale's charges 10%. Not recommended.

This is a review of two specifc aspects of Dale's, both stellar. 1. I have never had a yeast/dinner roll made from corn meal. I was missing out on one of the wonders of the south. My first and second basket were both fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. Do not miss this very special offering. Our other food choices were cool but this was the one to write home about. 2. The service was the exact southern hospitality the area is known for. We enjoyed a very pleasant greeter, friendly wait staff and attentive manager who all made us feel welcomed. Excellent service across the board.
