Good chicken

Chicken was horrible. Asked for crispy and the chicken had been cooked. Wasn’t hot, but nearly warm. Fries were hard like they had been sitting also. Greens, charged .50 more for canned greens. Chicken had a slimy feeling to it…not my expectation when I come into town.

I did not like the fact that the chicken was spicy hot. My mouth burned for a while after eating. I think they should give you I an option as to whether or not you want it spicy hot. So, I am only giving 4 stars.

Just love this place. People in there were so friendly and attentive. The food is very tasty and I love the vintage decorations.

The chicken was so good, crispy and juicy!! Sides did not disappoint either.
Top notch service too…visiting from San Diego and would definitely look for it every time I come back.

My honey saids 3 stars, he saids the chicken is delicious and just a little too spicy for him but likes it. He definitely isn’t a fan of any of the sides, but you all have chicken down to a science. The greens aren’t seasoned, the Mac and cheese isn’t homemade the desserts aren’t good just sweet. The customer service is pretty good though! A little pricy too! But any that’s our spill.

Gus dishing out that world famous chicken. Gus is real busy on a Sunday afternoon, but that means your chicken will be super fresh. I’d recommend you order ahead if you’re doing takeout so you don’t have to stare at your phone for 20-30 mins while you wait. That lady running the takeout counter had her stuff together and ran that counter with style and grace. My chicken was hot, delicious and fresh. My sides of potato salad and mac with the cheese were also delicious. The price ain’t cheap, but it won’t break the bank neither.

Didn’t live up to all the hype. It was so so.

Let me start by saying that I always order from this location and I am very disappointed and disgusted at what I received today I was feeling a little under the weather today so I decided to doordash I spent $34.25 on a three-piece white plate that comes with two breasts One Wing baked beans coleslaw a slice of bread I ordered chess pie and an Arnold Palmer drink what I received was two pieces of chicken one breast one Wing two slices of white bread in a brown paper bag that was wet let me save you all the trouble please do not eat from this location the food that I was delivered today I wouldn't feed my dog!!!

Great food, beautiful chicken. The floor was pretty greasy and they were training a few servers when we went so it was slow for sure but they also gave us free pie so I will love them forever
