Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken

Chicken is super dry , Mac and cheese is box Mac n cheese I just can’t believe they are selling food so horrible

Honestly, I was with a work group and was not too excited to eat here with it being my first time. I couldn't have been more mistaken. Best fried chicken I have ever had! The sides are awesome, and the chess pie is almost as good as my mom's! I will 100% eat here again amd again.

Best chicken ever! We need a Gus's in Virginia. Perfectly seasoned and fresh. The fried pickles are good too. Drinks come in a cup you can take home.

I visited the Gus in Southaven with a to go order and was very disappointed. The employees were very attentive and quick taking my order. After taking my order to my vehicle I noticed that it was wrong. The employees promptly resolved the issue. The chicken was very very dry. The crust was so hard that I can hardly eat it. It also lacked flavor.

Ordered 2 chicken plate dinners (2 piece dark w/okra and seasoned fries and 3 piece white w/mac-n-cheese and coleslaw) via Uber eats. The order arrived early and nicely sealed in a tamper proof bag (thanks!). Everything looked amazing, but nothing tasted like it looked. The chicken was old and cold. The okra was burnt, seasoned fries had no season, but the Mac-n-cheese was ok, and the coleslaw was decent. This cost too much to taste so bad. I should’ve just cooked (or went to Popeyes).

I tried Gus’s chicken for the first time today and I was very impressed!!!! The seasoning was very flavorful and the skin was super crisp! Their sweet tea is also top tier as well! The staff was very friendly and the order was done pretty quickly!

I hadn't been in years. Since I was in the area, I grabbed a 3 piece. Freshly cooked. Still good.

Great spicy chicken

Really flavorful fried chicken! The chicken strips were great and the mac and cheese was done right. Workers were very friendly and food was super cheap. Definitely recommend!

This place was delicious! I am glad I stopped by I got my food to go. I got the three piece dark with okra and potato salad it was all good. The staff was very nice and friendly fast in and out will definitely be back!
