I visited this place for the 1st time today. Drive through was 10minutes with only 1 car in front of me. Should have go e with my first mind and left solely based on the wait and the rude service. But no, I want to give them a chance. I ordered the beef smoked sausage meal. $10.33. It was burned to a crisp! Black throughout with a hint of flesh. It was sloppy with barbecue on the wrapping and slapped on cole slaw. I wouldn't give this wrap to my dog!!!!

Looking for a real professional BBQ go across the street to TOPS BAR-B-Q!!

This was my go to bbq restaurant in the memphis area. Tried to call in a Togo order at 5:30 pm, got a voice mail explaining they stopped taking phone orders after 6pm and if they couldn't answer it was due to helping other guests I drove from Olive Branch calling 3 times to phone in my order. It's was a 20 minute drive. No one ever answered the phone. I was actually listening to the message again pulling into the parking lot. There was no business to keep them from answering. Just the manager ignoring the phone ringing. Very disappointing. This place used to be clean, awesome and have great customer service. They definitely have slipped

Good food customer service could be better...a lot better.

Rib tips were overcooked. It was literally jerky. At least the beans and potato salad were delicious. Two meat combo is $28. Steep price for subpar BBQ.

NEVER Southaven JIM NEELY'S BBQ AGAIN. OLD RIB TIPS; NOT FRESH AT ALL. 😩. PAID A LOT OF MONEY FOR THIS ORDER ON A FOOTBALL NIGHT. GOT 1-TBLS BAKED BEANS; 1 TBLS BAKED BEANS. What a waste of money.

The restaurant is itself is in Rundown condition they don't do yard maintenance, they have the best barbecue sandwiches and best baked beans I've ever had, do not care for the apple vinegar sauce though.

Ordered beef sandwich there is no flavor.$18.15 for a sandwich that has no flavor is crazy. The sauce put on the sandwich was gross. Fries over cooked and hard. Lady at front counter had no personality.Drink machine is down in lobby. The inside is clean however.

And another one bites the dust! Was a big fan for years. I think they are cooking the meats in the oven. No smoke flavor or smell. The mashed barbecue beans was something new! So sad. I arrived at 1 pm on a Friday and there was one customer inside. After waiting for service, I realize that you have to order at the register and I had to shout to get someone to help me. All orders are prepared “to go”.
I will be surprised if they remain open another 6 months.

The food wasn't good but it was a big helping, The wait in line was very long. The owner/cashier just walked away from the register while people were still standing in line for about 15 minutes. I loved supporting black businesses, that's why I stayed. Probably won't come back.

I ordered the rib tips, cole slaw and bake beans. The rib tips wasn't freshly cooked. It was as if they were leftovers and not fresh. The cole slaw was not desirable at all. The bake beans were fine. Not what I expected. Don't think I'll be back, very disappointed 😔
