Bland tasting soul food, I did not like anything not even the cornbread. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I was in the area and decided to stop in. The two young ladies at the front welcomed me warmly—they had great attitudes and were very thoughtful. I was offered delicious samples, which helped me narrow down my choice from all the tempting options. The baked chicken, mashed potatoes, and macaroni were absolutely delicious. I asked for hot sauce and gravy on the side but didn’t even need them because the food was rightly and perfectly seasoned 😋. I’ll definitely be dining here again soon!

Excellent customer service and clean environment. Ox tails was very fatty, but good. Catfish needed to be cooked a little longer. Greens had a lot of stems, but okay. The chicken and dressing was served with a chicken thigh. Mac and cheese was bland and off the stove. Soul food was good, but it needed more seasoning.

DO NOT waste your time, money, or taste buds! I ordered hamburger steak, expecting it to at least be homemade since this place advertises as a soul food restaurant, but instead I received two processed patties that I could have purchased from the frozen food section at a grocery store. They also screwed up my side items. I’m extremely disappointed!

Th Their card machine would not work with my card even after checking my balance with the card company. It told me the same amount that it showed on my phone. They tried three times but would not accept my payment and I kept saying that something was wrong but they wouldn’t try and fix it. I will never go back.
My wife cousin and I visited on our visit to Memphis for the weekend , while trying to find a good soul food restaurant online we decided to try it out and they did not disappoint in aspect !! As soon as we entered the door we were warmly greeted by 2 very pleasant charismatic young ladies who provided all of us with great service breaking down and explaining the menu options with patience and understanding that we truly appreciate after the great service we recieved fresh food made to order that was fresh and hot made to order, while eating our delicious food the manager came over and greeted us and checked to see if the food was made to our satisfaction we will definitely return next time we visit extra shout out to mossie and her crew thank you

Food was horrible I had a turkey wing over dressing with greens and black eyed peas the food was so bland and tasteless. I would expect better from this restaurant. The cooks definitely need to be replaced!
No seasoning in the greens. Turkey wings were tasteless as well. Sweet potato casserole was great. The banana pudding was nasty.

My first time visiting. Food trays needed to be refilled. There was food wasted outside the trays. The area needed wiped. Pecan pie fillin wasnt solid. I dont understand why the greens had stems. But, to each it's own. I grew up old school. When you pick greens you keep the leaf and throw away the stem. Baked chicken was okay . The two pieces given actually made one piece by placing the two together. Yams, required taste, not bad. The cornbread was the best thing going.

Read the reviews and drove 30 mins to see what the food was about. The Food was okay, the did greet you when you walked in but it was dark so we just got our food to go it was giving grab and go vibes. I ordered turkey wings but should have ordered fried fish. The turkey wings were very bland and mashed potatoes were over the top garlicky. I went for the sweet potato pie but they were out but the sweet potatoes casserole was good. However, I will try them again, maybe today or the time I went was just not the right time.
