I have eaten at 1883 Smokehouse (Starkville location) numerous times and the service is always great and food has been excellent. The pulled pork nachos are the bomb and I highly recommend them. I have had the catfish, burger, and ribs have all have been really good.

We ate off the truck in the lot across from Eupora Hospital and Walgreens. WORST FOOD EVER!!!! We wasted $32.00 on gross disgusting food. 3 people all agree on that too!! Never order the Loaded Nachos! Pinto beans are put on them. Gross!!!!!?

I was totally disappointed in the service and food tonight. This use to be a great place to eat however something has changed. $80 for 3 people to eat tonight and it's all going home to my dog. I will not return.

MARK AND HIS TEAM SERVED THE 7 OF US SHRIMP, RIBEYES, FILETS AND SOME OF THE BEST BANANA PUDDING I HAVE EVER TASTED. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING AND DEF. DESERVES A VISIT IF YOUR EVER IN STARKVILLE MS. VERY VERY GOOD FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE.

Pretty solid food and service was good despite the low staff. Definitely feel like it would've been better if I had come a little earlier for lunch but was still good. I kinda figured that they just cook big batches for lunch and dinner so the earlier you come, the better I would assume.

The steak I just paid $30 for is horrible, I can’t even chew it.
It was just okay. The Outlaw tacos were good but not good enough to pay $16.99 especially when you only get 2 of them and one side. Also, we were having to fight with flies the whole time we were there.

Ribs were tough or not completely done. Male owner refuse to come to our table. However a vibrant young lady came to our table and gave us great customer service. We tried the burger and it was good.

Staff was so friendly as soon as we walked in the door. Service was exceptional! Food was amazing. Place stayed open to accommodate MS State fans after the Baseball CWS National championship celebration. Will DEFINITELY be going back and also trying the one out in Louisville.
