Food was good but just average. Thought portions were small for price. Staff friendly though. When you spend $25 for breakfast for 2 and leave hungry it makes it a place that I won't go back to in the future. I even had water to drink. ?

Don’t miss Starkville Cafe!! We have never visited the area and we always look to Trip Advisor. They never let us down. I had the best smoked chicken..hands down EVER! And the green beans, baked beans, baked potato salad, hubby’s grits..and a peach cobbler that made you wanna smack your mama! Omg! You will not go hungry and the worst part is deciding where to spend your calories lol!

If you are in Starkville for a game weekend, don't miss out on a chance for a really good breakfast here. Anything from Two Egg Country Platter to pancakes, it's done right. Great service and prices. They also have a fantastic blue plate lunch, too. Oh yeah, it's also locally owned.

Nothing crazy or trendy but just great food and friendly atmosphere. I had eggs over easy, sausage, grits, and biscuit. Everything was perfectly cooked and my coffee cup was always full. Got there before the rush, then came back at 8am and every table was full. College students, families, retirees, people from all walks of life.

This is a great place for your standard southern breakfast. Love the food and the service here. Nothing really has changed since I was in college back in the 80’s. You can expect a wait especially when there is an event on campus

Right off on main street, this cafe primarily serves classic American breakfast meals and combos that you can’t go wrong with. There’s parking along main street but it might be tight depending on the day and busy it is. Average price per person: $13-16

We were in Starkville twice in the last month. We found Starkville Cafe and have eaten there 3 times both for breakfast and lunch. Great food and service all times. I would definitely recommend the pancakes with duck butter. At lunch I suggest the fried chicken. If you’re in Starkville check out this place.
