I’ve been here several times and never had great service but a subpar average experience. However, the past 2 times I have come in with my friend, Earl, the experience has been off the charts. We had the same waitress both times and she made us feel like we were her only table when in fact, it looked as if she were serving most of the restaurant with the same high quality service. Choo Choo, we are here for lunch#HailStateI am originally from Starkville so it's nice to try local spots. We see this place every trip up but never have time to stop, glad we did!Super tastefully decorated restaurant in the old train depot in downtown StarkVegas. Very nice bar at the door opening is where we sat. We were waiting on family to get in town and stopped for an appetizer and drinks. Server was a little busy when we initially sat down (holiday shorthandedness) but did immediately greet and welcome us. Super nice staff!Cheese sticks were some of the best I have had. You can pick to have Mozzarella, Pepper Jack or mix half and half. We chose half and half to see what the Pepper Jack was about. Sooooo creamy, smooth and flavorful. Also served with a side of house made ranch and marinara.For the bevs, because holiday time calls for those too, we chose the Old Fashioned (a little to sweet), Cucumber Lime (lots of citrus flavor ) and the Bramble.All in all, great spot and will have to come back for an actual meal review!

So I have eaten at The Grill many times and today was my first bad experience. Someone at our table wanted to order the sliders which are not on the menu but a previous visit our server said just ask for them they are always available but today they said that they had a limited menu so they were not making them of the baseball game which I do have a problem with because I have been on busier days after a football game and it has been no problem but that was not the big problem and the big problem was that I looked at a table next to our table and someone at their table had ordered the sliders and they got them but when I confronted our server about it he said he thought they weren’t serving it but should have checked with the kitchen first. But the food was ok the ribeye sandwich was cold the chicken and waffles were ok but the bacon was obviously microwaveable bacon our nachos were cold the only thing that was all good was the brunch burger. I was very disappointed and will not be visiting for a while I hope they improve

I enjoyed my experience here! I give overall 4 stars because of the wait... when we first entered, no one sat us for a few minutes so we understood the busyness but once we ordered and received our appetizer, we had to wait before eating to ask for utensils. Yet, Every thing was very delicious!! I hope to attend again.

I normally have a good experience when we eat here but tonight was the worst. $56 ticket and the food was horrible. I feel like I just paid for garbage. I ordered an appetizer of spring rolls and the special, the crab and crawfish cakes. The spring rolls were a little over cooked or fried too long but still good with the sauce. My side house salad was drenched with dressing(way too much). When my meal came, 1 of the cakes was cold and the other was hot. So I know one was older than the freshly cooked cake. The bed of Lettuce and balsamic was awful too. I also ordered a side of steam broccoli to go with my ordered. The broccoli was over steamed and flavorless. My first bite of broccoli quickly ended up in my napkin which it was garbage. Too many flavors that didn't blend together well. Altogether I wish I used a fast food svc tonight which I could have eaten much better for less.

Meh…..Service was great from the bar to the table was courteous and prompt. However, we were told there would be no modifications to any menu items. Something as simple as not putting chives on my loaded potato. Weird.The steak was not a $32 steak, the baked potato wasn’t cooked all the way through, and my 12 year old son even said the mashed potatoes weren’t that great.Again, the service was great. The atmosphere was even really good. But I wouldn’t come back for the food.
