“I really like Taste Starkville but had a bad experience yesterday. I had never tried the Tuna Sandwich so I gave it a shot. It was horrible. It was bland, too spicy, and the bread was too dense. I had to box it up but I had no idea what I was going to do with it. I asked to speak to a manager and I very nicely told him (Cameron) that I couldn't eat the sandwich. He offered me a carry-out bowl of soup. I declined. I expected to have something taken off of my bill.“

“We heard about this joint from a local bartender at a college dive bar. He said they really don’t advertise and that it’s kind of hidden away from the tourists. After the next bartender told us the same thing we figured we must try this place. It did not disappoint. The decor and ambiance fit the secrecy about this place. Low lighting gives the place a old feeling and welcomes you right in. There is a bar but seeing the place is small it is used for dining also. The food is outstanding and service is great. The BBQ Okra is out of this world. I had the blackened Redfish with garlic sautéed Brussels sprouts and Cajun creamed corn, and my wife had the fried chicken with Mac n cheese and the Brussels sprouts. Add a signature cocktail and your good.“
