Visited here with someone. It was fairly ok.. We had the bbq nachos as appetizer.. It was good but I've had better for less cost. We ordered blues burger with Mac and cheese. The person I was with had one bite and did not want anymore so I ate the remaining as leftovers the following day. It was good for the most part. I ate the Mardi Gras and it was okay but honestly I expected the taste to be better. I will not visit again but appreciated the chance of eating here.

DoorDash showed up timely, so can't find fault with service, but the food was poor. Catfish was greasy, more like slow-boiled in oil rather than fried. Grits lacked buttery flavor. Beef pot roast sandwich was oversalted and had an off flavor, and the bread was old. Duck wontons were almost duckless, mostly cream cheese. Peach cobbler was tasteless, although the ice cream was good. Bread pudding was dry and had no flavor. Not at all what we were hoping for. Can't recommend any of it. Won't go back, not for that amount of money.

I was here for a wedding reception last week. It was a very pretty setup, and the food they served was pretty decent. My only complaint is that almost every single plate I saw when we went through to get food was absolutely filthy. Even the plates that seemed okay on the top had food all over the bottom. Otherwise, it was nice.

I had the shrimp po'boy and the crispiest sweet potato fries for lunch last week. The shrimp were huge and perfectly fried. The remoulade sauce was tangy but not too spicy. The waffle sweet potato fries were the best part of the meal!! LOVED THEM!! The service was great and the food came out quickly.

The food was great but my server was terrible I’m not sure if it was because we were black and he thought we weren’t gonna tip but as a server myself you never treat a guest like that regardless of whatever stereotype you assume they are. But I probably would never go back unless I did takeout cause my server (he was a white guy) just treated us like we didn’t matter and as a server I always tip so joke was on him cause he missed out on a really good tip. Tip as a server never treat your guest a certain way cause you never know who will tip.

I had a bad experience. I asked for a medium steak and because it was medium on the inside but charred black on outside and I could taste it the manager told me well its medium on the inside. I ordered mashed potatoes because sweet potatoes had cinnamon and still got sweet potatoes. She didn't try to accommodate me or take anything off my bill. Then had an attitude. The steak is over $40 by itself. Who wants to pay that much and can't eat it.
