Great food, and kind staff. Was understaffed when we the first time so getting a table was slower but that wasn’t really on the restaurant. Atmosphere was amazing especially your Alumni of Mississippi State. My favorite was there breakfast burger. For those that have never been, just a heads up the burgers are big!

I don’t write many reviews, and the only ones have are good. But this was the weirdest restaurant experience I’ve ever had. We waited around 25 minutes after being sat to have a server come to us. That was okay and didn’t really bother me because sometimes a section gets sat without the server knowing. But it wasn’t busy. Our waitress was very nice at first, but it took a while for even drinks. When my drink was refilled, it took so long that someone had to get up and ask about it. When the drink was brought back, it didn’t have a straw and I wasn’t handed one so when we were asked if we needed anything I asked, “Can I have a straw please?” in a nice tone. Our waitress stared at me for a moment and just blinked at me before giving me one. It struck all of us as weird because it was like an annoyed look/blink with a hollow smile and was a clear indication of her being upset. We literally all looked at each other confused. I don’t really know how to describe it other than weird. I had asked nicely and have never gotten a reception like that for simply asking for a straw. Other than when we were first checked on after 25 mins, our drinks, food came out, and check we were never checked on. We wanted knives to cut our burgers but didn’t want to hunt down the waitress to ask for one. I would’ve understood more if it was busy but it wasn’t. Maybe the restaurant was understaffed. What really struck me was the straw incident. I just don’t understand why you would be mad at someone for asking for a straw? Or show that you’re mad? It wasn’t like we were asking for a bunch of things because we could barely get her to our table. I asked for one refill and that required a 10+ minute wait and having to get up and ask about my drink in a nice tone. Unless it’s takeout, we probably won’t eat here again after that. The food was good, but the service was weird.

Went inside with 3 other tables in there, sat for 40 minutes without even getting our drinks taken despite everyone else being served. Had to walk out as no one came to help us

You have to go here for lunch. Sit at the bar and have an ice cold beer. Order you a tasty appetizer and pick from one of their delicious burgers. I love the McDowel. I think that was the name. Really good service and i could not finish it all. Yummy!!

Stood in the Door waiting for a hostess for 10 mins. One finally came over to help that had passed us by multiple times, and decided to help customers that just walked in.

Food was great! Chose the Cajun Pasta. It took about 20 minutes for my party of 3 to order our drinks and another hour before we got our food. This was on a Thursday. Food was great. Wait times could have been a lot lower. 4 stars. Will definitely be visiting this establishment again.

First, I'm a frequent customer. Second, I found out tonight, after I ordered curbside, they weren't really doing curbside. I had no way of knowing. I also found out that if you push the button on the Mugshots site, to let them know you've arrived to pick up your order, they don't know, so you have to call them; another unknown variable. One of their two curbside spots is usually occupied by the manager's car. That's an awesome "customer first" attitude! Let the customers walk across the street. A "manager" shouldn't have to. Then, the fried mushrooms were a potpourri of shrooms, onions, and pickles. Plus, the mushrooms were the size of a small apple, not bite sized. The "wangs" we're horrible. The skin had the consistency of silicone and they were pitifully cooked. So, I paid for the appetizer combo, ate my cheese wedges, ate the three mushrooms that were bite sized, hence, cooked, and took one bite of an undercooked wing. Mugshots, stick to burgers. And, if someone orders a hamburger steak w/no gravy due to diet restrictions, do t make them scrape gravy off when they get home. And, if you manage ANY place, and think you're too good to walk across the street, let the customers walk, then maybe you should be in charge of cooking fries. There are too many good places to eat in Starkville for me to waste any more money here. Everything seems to have declined drastically in just the last two weeks.

Went after a Volleyball game with our elementary school team. The AC was on 65 and we asked to turn it up a little. We were all freezing. The food took an hour and was cold (pasta cold) and my daughter didn’t eat because her burger was wrong. I didn’t eat my food because I was waiting on the server to come back to fix her burger. By the time she came over everyone was finished. This was a terrible visit and I’ll only go to the Mugshots in Tuscaloosa from now on.

Earlier today, I came in to pick up a mobile order. I stood at the counter and waited a bit, then a guy comes in, and two girls come in. After about a minute, a girl in a white shirt with a bull ring in her nose comes out. She skipped passed me without addressing me, but then proceeded to ask the guy after me if he was picking up an order. Then she tended to the two girls and took them to be seated, and then she returned to the back. She never came back to tend to me. I don't want to say that this was the case, but coincidentally I was the only black person in this situation. I had to get assistance from a guy who had shown up after she left, and a girl in a green shirt brought my food out to me. I asked her if I was in the right place at the counter to be attended to, and she assured that I was. I brought it to her attention that the girl with the nose ring had skipped me and tended to everyone else after me, but never returned. She told me that they sometimes assume that some customers have been helped already but to speak up about it. This wasn't even the first inconvenience I've dealt with picking up from here. I've had a situation where I've had an extra item missing from my sandwich that I was charged for. I've had a situation where I had to wait on a strawberry lemonade for what seemed like another half hour for my order. I've also had a scenario where a girl brought my food to me, but she had to go back to grab my drink. I tried to stop her before she left to ask her for some other missing items on my order, but she walked off right away before I had the chance. Then I asked her when she returned, and she gave a sigh under her breath as she returned to the back once again to get the missing items. This was basically the 4th chance I've given to this place, but sadly this will probably be my last visit for awhile if not ever again.

Came here for NFL Thursday night football. Was surprised that the volume was off on all the tvs, and the place was really quiet. A very strange vibe. The service was absolutely fantastic though. Our server was a veterinarian student and was absolutely delightful. She made our visit much better.Food was good, not great. Probably not a place I would return to, being as there are other local options, but it's hard to say.
