My wife and I had lunch at Newk's yesterday. We were taking advantage of $5 discounts sponsored by Modern Woodmen of America. My wife ordered a pizza, and I ordered a cup of the chicken tortilla soup and a half Greek salad. For our free desserts, my wife got a Rice Krispies treat, and I got a dark chocolate brownie. The food was delivered so quickly that I didn't have time to take all my pills. As usual, it all tasted good, and we had more than enough to eat (we brought half the pizza home). We had water to drink, and our bill, with the $10 discount, came to $16.43 with a 10% tip.
