Food was great! Service was great! Only gave a 3 star because I was eating alone and when I checked my ticket there was a gratuity fee added. Now from my understanding a gratuity fee is added when there is a party of 4 or more ( there’s a sign on the door when you enter, because I thought I was tripping) and I never mind paying a gratuity fee, because that’s how it goes.However, for my server to take it upon herself to do so without my acknowledgment is wrong. I guess I looked like I wasn’t going to leave a tip ( which is not true I made sure I had cash and the amount she took I was gonna tip more). I say this to say check your receipts because if you’re planning to leave a tip they probably already charged you even if you’re eating alone.

Delicious Mexican food at No Way Jose. Went in for lunch on a recommendation and was worried because lunch was a little slow. The food was great, service was on point, and the place has a good layout with lots of TVs and a bar.

The food is ok here. Very simple Mexican dishes. Nice spot to hang out. The two margaritas I tried had too much margarita mix and was not good. I ended up ordering a French connection, which was good.

On 11-14-2024 after working all day I thought I would stop at this restaurant for me a to go dinner. I ordered a steak fajita and ask that they not put guacamole on my salad and just replace it with sour cream when I was leaving the restaurant I asked the waiter did they not put guacamole when I got home there was guacamole. I called the restaurant and the manager there asked me what did he think I should do I felt that he should give me at least 10% off next time but he was rude and I just told him that’s OK

Let me just start about how upsetting it is to get charged 20% gratuity for coming after 8:00 the main thing that I was most upset about was that there was no warning before you found out when you got your ticket. Also the prices don’t reflect the quality of food that you receive there is “No Way” that Jose will ever receive my business ever again. It is a crooked scheme for that 20% gratuity. Do better.

I love their dip so much but its been a while i got two today and one yesterday and i didnt think that this large container of dip was $9 i paid $20 for two small larger containers dips i think it should be in a bigger container $20 is alot of money to pay for this small container of dip!

The service was excellent. My server was on point and took good care of me. For my entree, I had the Jose Combo and it was very good. My chief complaint is the use of cheese sauce on nachos is a no-no unless you’re at a ball game. Some jalapeños would make a big difference, too. They weren’t nearly spicy enough for Tex-Mex.
I love their food, especially the steak fajita quesadilla. Sometimes they play music too loud. The college students will get too loud at times. I believe their french fries are hand-cut and are shoestring-sized. Sometimes cilantro is in their salsa.
