I had the catfish strip, and hush puppies which was very good. The coleslaw was not good at all. And the fact you had to pay for service before getting your meal was crazy. The waitress came once to the table to bring us food and never came back was a waste of money.

Put in a to go order in store and stood there waiting. Order was put under the counter and ignored for 10 minutes while the people behind the counter stood there gossiping. Food isn't bad but customer service is lacking

A nice nostalgic place ( several old signs) to get a variety of food. We had a crawfish poor boy with fries; which had quite a bit of fried crawfish and the fries had a tasty seasoning. Husband had a veggie wrap with potato salad, which he was waving about. Our granddaughter had chicken tenders with fries. The tenders were big and had a panko type of breading. We tried their pecan pie with praline sauce and a scoop of ice cream. The service was excellent even when we went up to the counter to get refills.
It was a very nice atmosphere. The staff was very accommodating and the food was excellent.

First time eating here. The food was delicious, hot and fresh! First time trying Alligator bites and they were really good! Only gave it 4 stars because of service. They weren’t rude at all but they weren’t friendly either. I work in restaurant management and I’m really big on friendly service. I’ll definitely go back because of the great tasting food!
When I say Hail State I say Hail Yeah this meal was by far one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. My family and I are definitely looking forward to becoming Starkvegans. Y’all stop in at Oby’s and try those Alligator Bites, they will definitely bite back they’re so good.
