This cafe is great. It's a blast from the past type of cafe. Food was great and well priced.

Great food, fast service even with a pretty full house. The Duck Syrup is delicious!

Unfortunately everything we ordered had something wrong with it. Got eggs and cheese, cheese wasn't melted much at all. Toast was very burnt, asked them to cook my sausage a little longer and was told they couldn't do it 'it was as cooked as it was going to get' Wasn't a pleasant experience for me and my family.

I have been here once before and it was good, but recently I went with a party of 5 (me included) and it took an hour and a half (literally 1 hour and 33 minutes) to get a table. The woman working said they only had two tables that could seat us.. I think for a family dinner maybe add more than 2 family sized tables!

Ordered 4 over medium eggs, side of bacon and some avocado. Received eggs that looked like they'd been poached, tasteless, 3 rashes of bacon burnt to a crisp. Bill for this and a cup of bad coffee was $23.75, (18.50 + .56 credit card surcharge + $1.91 tax + tip). I have no idea how this establishment can justify that kind of cost for such mediocre and inexpensive ingredients. This dish would typically be $9-10 elsewhere.

They say you can’t go home again. You can at the Starkville Cafe!

Great breakfast, lunch, & dinner.

Grits and coffee. The fuel of the gods.

The breakfast is satisfying. Lunch is perfect. Dinner is fuel to keep you going.

Try anything on the menu. The club sandwich is retro. Fries, tots or sweet fries. Country fried steak is great.

They have an old man liars club.
This is Starkville meets Mayberry.

Starkville Cafe catered our recent event for 100 foresters. We had bbq brisket, chicken, and pulled pork, along with beans, slaw, and banana pudding. The amazing part is this was all within our stated budget! Everyone left full and complimented how great everything was. John and Brittany were very nice and easy to work with throughout the process. I recommend considering them for your event.

Always great service, their breakfast with homemade breakfast sausage is great, and of course you recall all the memories of eating there through the years.
