Service was great. Drinks, appetizer, and dessert were fine. However, we both ordered Veal Marsala. The veal was tough and 1/4 of each serving could not even be cut with a knife.

We enjoy dining at Taste on special occasions, and when we want delicious Italian food with impeccable service. Every meal we've tried at Taste has been fresh and plentiful. The lemon basil sauce is wonderful!

Food & Service were excellent. If owner uses seating in the garage door enclosed patio in 40 degree temps, heating should be improved. My guest were uncomfortably cold.

Very disappointed in Taste. We had a reservation for my birthday. We arrived a few minutes early, but there was no table for us. The restaurant was NOT full. The three hosts basically ignored us telling us "we'll have a table for you as soon as possible". We waited for nearly 15 minutes and then asked for a table in the bar area which was not ideal. The worst part was it was a birthday dinner and no one acknowledged that it was a special occasion even though it was noted in the reservation. The server was not good and the food was so so. Not sure if we'll be back.

First time at restaurant and it was worth the drive from Alabama. Really enjoyed the appetizer sampler but the spinach dip could use more seasoning. Pizza and pork chop was great.....Nice atmosphere.

I've said this before but see no change. If you are going to advertise as an Italian restaurant please provide more seasonings on your food. Also, when I made this reservation, it asked if this was for a special occasion. It was for my husband's birthday! The waiter said Happy Birthday but no other benefit was provided. Why ask if you aren't going to celebrate it in some way!????

Ate here tonight. It wasn’t very good. My glass was empty more than it had content. I ordered Shrimp Alfredo. It had 5 tailed shrimp and it was not very good. I’m in no way affiliated with Americo, but I don’t recommend choosing Taste over Amerigo. I’d give it a 2 out of 5 just because I’m being extra generous

Lobster Risotto was delicious, as always! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Taste and they took care of us.
I really like Taste Starkville but had a bad experience yesterday. I had never tried the Tuna Sandwich so I gave it a shot. It was horrible. It was bland, too spicy, and the bread was too dense. I had to box it up but I had no idea what I was going to do with it. I asked to speak to a manager and I very nicely told him (Cameron) that I couldn't eat the sandwich. He offered me a carry-out bowl of soup. I declined. I expected to have something taken off of my bill.
