Steak was not a quality cut. No steak sauce other than butter and ketchup. Side were not good either. Go somewhere else!
My husband and I LOVE the brunch on Sundays! They have delicious waffles, Cajun grits, and crispy hashbrowns (I add cheese and onions). I am vegetarian so I enjoy getting the pastas they have, and the queso they have with the BBQ chips is 10/10. My husband enjoys their hamburgers. If you are in the Starkville area on Sundays I would recommend eating brunch here.

Sat outside on a lovely winter Saturday. Pecan smoked wings are fire. My son reports the Reuben is the best one he's had in town. Service was peppy and quick. We'll be going back for sure.

I absolutely adore The Camphouse! I’ve been enjoying their wonderful establishment for many many years. The food never disappoints, (seafood grits, shrimp wrap, the brisket melt, and their pastas, are a few of my favorites) the staff are always delightful, friendly, welcoming, and just downright pleasant. The drink selection is top tier. The back patio is dog friendly (thanks guys) and an overall amazing vibe. The gas laterns, fire pit, and accent lights make it a great after work relaxation station. The bread puddings are unique and delicious. I’ve yet to try one that I did not like. They have spectacular brunch options too! I cannot Say enough good things about this place! Go visit and join The Camphouse Family. They always have a CHEFS SPECIAL MENU too, so you can always try something new!

Cute restaurant. We sat outside since the dogs were traveling with us. Everything we tried was great.

We visited The Camp House and while the service was commendable; especially considering there was only one waitress handling the entire dining area the food left much to be desired. We ordered two appetizers, including nachos that were so stale they were nearly inedible. The hamburger meat had a soured taste, making it very unpleasant.
We also got a kids’ chicken nugget meal, and the nuggets were so overcooked they were difficult to even cut. Our main dishes included fried fish and Cajun pasta, but unfortunately, both were disappointing and lacked flavor, we’ve had far better elsewhere.
While we appreciated the effort from the staff, the quality and taste of the food didn’t match the price, which felt steep given the overall experience. Our rating reflects the poor food quality more than anything else.

Make sure you check out the brunch menu if you plan to visit on Sunday. Not that anything on the brunch menu would disappoint, but options are more limited.
If you get anything on Sunday, get it with the Duck Butter!!
