First off our waitress *Lindsay* was awesome!! We loved the crayfish dip and the Filet was really good.. I was really disappointed with the Cajun cream corn..it was way too salty and tasted like it was straight out of the can....

We decided to come back and try this spot , since we had been a year ago. Service was really lacking . Restaurant was not full either . Our waiter not on top of it at all . Kept trying to get his attention to order . Wine list very small ,also cannot bring bottles in to pay corkage . Food was mediocre , and took a while to order and get food . Maybe all the changes from Covid , but would not be back . Cool venue , but has really slid downhill ! Not good !

Just got back from here. Had a lovely evening, our first visit to this restaurant (even though we live in Caledonia). I’ve heard nothing but good things and that was our experience as well. Upscale local dining for the Starkville community, somewhat pricey but excellent food and service. Shout out to Milly, our server, who was extremely friendly and informative. Tonight was a steak special explained in detail by Milly which was totally delicious and we also enjoyed the barbecue okra as well as chocolate cake. Had a nice Merlot specifically paired for our dinner. We will be visiting again!

We went the other night and I got a pork chop that was like a big hunk of ham. It was charred and just plain awful. The vegetable of the day was Brussels sprouts and my son and I don’t eat them at all. The chocolate cake was a cake right off a food service truck. My son had the chicken and it was pretty good. The Mac and cheese is not that great. I don’t recommend anyone going here. I have been here twice and I will not be going back the third time.

My daughter, granddaughter, wife, and I dined here and found the atmosphere intriguing and the food and service wonderful. I had the jambalaya as did my granddaughter, my wife had the shrimp and grits while my daughter had the fried chicken. The food was wonderful, and we desert was out of the question and the portions were more than ample. We loved the old brick walls and industrial look of the restaurant. The low-lighting and candle light added to the atmosphere. We all would highly recommend this restaurant!

Excellent food and server ! Sorority Sister Reunion made it unbearable with the older ladies shrieking and laughing . Must have been 50 of them and wow . So rude . I know the staff were tapped out ! Will try again when back in town, and hopefully it will be a better atmosphere!

Visited the restaurant during a weekend visit. The upstairs bar was makeshift and the service upstairs was slow, while our drinks were made incorrectly. However, our food and service in the "regular" floor was excellent. Our server was helpful. Definitely suggest it.

Today I met my family and friends for brunch and we unfortunately were treated unfairly. They have a policy that says they will not seat a party until all guests have arrived which is fair but it is not fair that the policy does not apply to everyone. Five out of seven of our guests were present two were parking and the hostess refused to seat us. A few moments later a woman walked up and went to the hostess and said I’m meeting some people they’re already seated. After hearing this, we asked the hostess why is that her party was seated and we cannot be seated. Her first response, “I saw her park”, her second response, “Oh I know them they eat here weekly”. A policy is not a policy if it is not applied to everyone regardless of the regularity of their visits to the restaurant. The hostess became visibly annoyed and went to get her manager, without us asking to do so. He comes outside immediately on the defensive. He was dismissive and treated us as if our business did not matter. I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken lacked flavor and left much to be desired. The waffle was good as was the butter.

A welcome break from burgers and barbecue! The Sunday brunch crush seemed as delighted as we were by Restaurant Tyler’s offerings. Salads were fresh and tasty, biscuits proved delicious and the Southern Hash must have been great since it disappoints so fast. I think we found our new Starkville favorite!

Great atmosphere and staff, the food was the best I’ve had in Mississippi. A true gem in Starkville. Pork chop is a must , gnocchi was great too.
