Me and my gbaby stop in place is busy its a Sunday. We sit at high bar. Never got greeted about 5 mins i notice the cook making piles of par cooked bacon and putting it in a bucket tin thing by the grits on the line. Mmmmm never have I ever in any WH establishment seen them do that. That is not protocol and honestly kinda gross. Potential cross contamination! They do a pretty decent job. DL the district manager does a good job goes customer to customer asking how they liked or enjoyed their food or service. They definitely need more of him at other Waffle Houses
Ordered togo online. Notibly, I remain disappointed because omelettes are not offered on the current menu. When I arrived around 11 pm, restaurant was not extremely busy and the staff were sufficiently polite. After getting home to eat, I found the mushrooms and tomatoes added to my individual- not side- order of hash browns were minimal as well as the serving. I'm sure this is not a decision made by the specific location, but rather a corporate one. My pecan waffle was tasty...
