We went around 6pm and were seated right away. Very few people in dining room so plenty of seats. I ordered the crab bites and my husband ordered a bowl of gumbo as well as half a dozen char-grilled oysters. When the crab bites came out I almost choked at the sight of them. I say this because we have heard nothing but good things about this place. Therefore, pre-made and packaged crab bites, I didn't expect to see. They honestly looked like dino nuggets you get for kids. I took a bite only to find out they were awful inside and out. All I tasted was freezer burn. I sent them back. The gumbo was watery and had very little rice. It tasted like a generic gumbo mix and lacked any originality. The oysters came all burned on the outside which is fine but the oysters seemed like they were also premade and then burned on the grill. Last, I ordered a 16 oz ribeye with green beans and baked potato, My Husband had Redfish with fries and green beans. The steak was ordered medium and came burnt on the outside and rare in the middle, the potato was dry, and the green beans let's just say we had a bite and pushed them away fast. The fish was in fact not redfish by any means. the amount of cream sauce provided was insulting which was bad because it tasted good. The fries took the show overall. They tasted fresher than anything else we got. Definitely will not go back to be charged $94.11 for the less than ok food. At this point we are praying we don't become sick.

First, I have to say that I have had steaks from all over the world and I would put the ribeye I got here in my top 5. It was cooked perfectly and the cut of beef was very good quality. Much better than what you will see in chain restaurants. The service was a little slow but I was there on a Thursday night that was not busy so it may be different on the weekends. All in all, I will definitely come back.

I recently visited this restaurant on a Saturday night around 7:30 pm for dinner. I ordered the oyster plate which had two sides of my choice, which were cheese grits and green beans. I love fried oysters and eat them at quite a few restaurants in MS and LA. These were mediocre. They were small but fried to a golden brown and soft on the I side as I like them but they didn't really have a lot of flavor. The green beans were soggy and not very flavorful. The cheese grits were the best part of my meal sadly. For $30 I was a bit disappointed. I tried to order desert but they were out of what I ordered. The staff was very friendly and attentive and we didn't have to wait long at all but the food was disappointing to me. I will be going a second time I'm sure and maybe my experience will be better.

Normally the food is great when I eat at Cypress Landing. However, I am disappointed at the amount of food I received for the take out. Secondly, to tops it off, my fish and fries were not fresh or hot. For $19.27 this is not good! Highly disappointed!

I'm from south Louisiana bayous and it made me feel like I was at home. The food was good wasn't the best but the thin fried catfish and shrimp plate wasn't a let down.. definitely going back
