I'm not exactly sure what happened on our last visit. We had been there just the week before and had a pleasant experience. This visit we were completely ignored. The restaurant was about a third full so not very busy. The staff passed us several times without ever acknowledging us. After waiting 15 minutes we left. We are confused about our treatment. We have no plans to return.

If I could give Doretha's a 10/10, I would. We stop on our way down to New Orleans for lunch. I recommend everyone coming through Summit, Mississippi to patronize this resturant. DELICIOUS Southern Home cooking and hospitality! Thank you again to the staff and we will be back! ❤️

This place is amazing. If you are in the area it is a must. Not only the comfort food that is absolutely delicious, but the experience. The family that own it are welcoming. They are proud of there product and service. It's an experience of the deep south. No frills just good food made by good people.

We ate there today. It was fantastic! Loaded shrimp poboy and the best hamburger you will ever eat 5 stars!
Food was great...but. on line price one thing and l paid a much higher price, didn't notice the difference until I had made it to my destination, which was 10 miles away....just check your price during pickup if you order over the phone...my price was 6$ more not including the extra charge for using my debit card ...if price change it's not shown on website.

We were traveling and in town looking for something different to eat. Found this place from the Google reviews which were good. Found it kinda on a back street. When we pulled in there were only 2 cars there. We thought no, and I thought the reviews were too good for it to not be good. It was early afternoon which may explain why there were many cars there. I got out of the car to go check to see if they were open. When I got out of the car and walked towards the building a lady hollered out of the drive up window and said they were closed. I walked over and talked to her and told her dang, I was hoping to eat there because of the great reviews. I told her we were from out of town. She asked me how many were with me and I told her two more. She said I'll open the door. I told her I really appreciated it but she didn't have to do that. She said , no I'm not turning you all away. We had the best hamburgers we've ever had and couldn't hardly eat them because they were so big. They didn't rush out and were thankful that we came. Good people and I would give them 10 stars if I could

Food is amazing, the people are so sweet, and prices are reasonable. If I went to visit Ms Doretha at home, I'd imagine this food is exactly what she'd serve. No frills, just great food, and a clean environment.
