We bought $30 worth of their chocolates from them 1 week ago while we were on a weekend trip there. It was for Valentines Day gifts. We got home and ate the first piece. It was terrible so we tried another
...terrible. My daughter tried hers...terrible...like spit out terrible. and our friend tried hers...same. We had 12 pieces (all different kinds) and threw every one of them in the garbage. I have bought chocolate all over. These were not edible. I tried calling the place every day and never got an answer. They are beautifully made...pretty to look at...but not eat. The only thing we can come up with is that the chocolates were old and had been sitting in the display case a long time. I hear they make great sandwiches...haven’t tried them and won’t now because we will never go back in there. We are in Summit all the time, too. I tried calling every day since, only to let them know. I wasn’t going to ask for our money back. I thought that perhaps they don’t know the chocolates are bad. I HATE leaving a bad review for anywhere but they would not answer their phone. I know the first 2 or 3 days they could have been without power due to freeze....but they have had power this weekend. Still no answer.
